Christmas is getting closer by the day and punters are out in search of a decent priced winner to help settle the bills, and on a tough card at Fairview on Friday there are two runners who could do the trick.

Trainer Alan Greeff continues to stream in winners and although it is not usually a wise choice to go against the Greeff – Greg Cheyne combination we are opting with The Black Manx in Race 6 and Viking Moon in Race 7.
The four-year-old gelding The Black Manx looked to be an improving sort when winning twice over the course and distance (1200m on the Fairview Polytrack) earlier in the season.
One has to forget his last outing when unplaced, but it is possible the gelding needed that run returning from a short break.
Xolani Ndlovu knows the horse well, having been aboard him in his last three starts.
Jockey Ryan Munger is having by far his best season, and it is interesting Greeff has given him the ride on the decent sprinter Viking Moon a bit later on in the day.
Sire of Viking Moon, Vercingetorix has his runners flying at the moment which is a good sign.
Viking Moon has been lightly raced this year only appearing four times for the one win and was well beaten behind stable companion Regimental who he meets again.
That run, though, is probably best ignored as he was clearly in need of the outing.
From pole position and a nice aggressive ride from Munger, could pay nice each-way dividends.
