Four-year-old galloper UNDER OATH looks set to atone for his last defeat when he steps out in the 1400m Class 4 contest at Ipoh on Sunday.
Trained by Frank Maynard, UNDER OATH is lightly-raced with three race starts to date and showed potential on his debut in October when closing off well to finish fourth from a wide barrier.
UNDER OATH broke the maiden tag with an impressive win in Penang over 1300m carrying 58kg. The Frank Maynard-trained gelding was far from disgraced on the upgrade last start when runner up to Gold Sky Billion over 1200m, indicating that he’s on track to win in Class 4 company this weekend.
