Malaysia Racing – Century has Speed to burn

Jockey HS Gill partners talented Big Doctor at Penang (Credits to Selangor Turf Club)

Promising performer CENTURY SPEED appears on track to return to winning form in the 1300m Class 4 contest at Penang on Saturday.

CENTURY SPEED has accumulated a handy record this preparation, recapturing the form he displayed when arriving on the local scene two years ago. The four-year-old will be coming off two minor placings in a row, including a short head second at Ipoh to the inform Sorbeta, who came out and won again in KL last Sunday.

CENTURY SPEED is only a moderate beginner but he does possess a quick turn-of-foot over varying distances. The gelding is a previous track and distance winner, and with champion jockey HS Gill remaining in the saddle, he looks hard to beat back on home turf this weekend.
