QUASAR ON CUE FOR HAT-TRICK
In-form seven-year-old QASAR looks set to continue his winning run when he lines up in the 1300m Peridot Handicap at Ipoh on Sunday.
QUASAR is racing in career-best form at the moment, posting three wins from five starts this season. The son of Eurozone looked impressive with a comprehensive 6.75-length win here on March 27 in Class 5 company before backing up a week later to defy the class rise and score over 1000m in soft going.
QUASAR has posted seven wins from 43 career starts, with five of those victories recorded on the Ipoh circuit, and his chances will be enhanced if a wet track prevails come Sunday.
