American bred galloper ELITE SAINT appears a genuine chance of returning to winning form in the 1100m Gunung Brinchang Handicap at Ipoh on Saturday.
ELITE SAINT has performed well in three starts since joining the stables of Ipoh trainer Ismadi Ismail earlier this year. The seven-year-old will be produced second-up from a short break following his fast finishing fourth over 1200m in Penang a fortnight ago.
ELITE SAINT is a reliable beginner and has displayed early pace previously as evidenced in his last win when leading throughout from barrier 13 in KL last November. The gelding will strip fitter and should prove hard to beat down the straight course this weekend.
