New Zealand bred performer TRAVIS appears set to bounce back into winning form when he steps out in the 1400m Yellow Allamanda Handicap at Ipoh on Saturday.
TRAVIS failed to make his mark in Singapore following 15 unplaced efforts but has definitely found his niche since joining the Selangor stables of Simon Dunderdale earlier this year. The five-year-old has recorded one win and two placings locally which includes his first career win when successful in a Class 5 contest over 1400m in KL last month.
TRAVIS carried 5kg more and was a fraction unlucky last start, receiving a slight check at barrier rise before closing off well to finish 2nd over 1300m in KL on May 29.
