Penang based trainer, Sharee Hamilton has a couple of genuine chances including six year old TRUDY, who will head the weights in the other division of the 1100m Class 4. The mare can bounce back on the downgrade where she won three times at this level and has never missed a place in three runs on the Selangor circuit. From the trials on Tuesday, VULCAN was in cruise mode when finishing 2nd, beaten 2 lengths behind smart mare Xena and can also atone from its recent defeat. The seven year old missed the start and cost himself any winning chance here on July 24 after leading throughout over 1200m a month prior.
Hamilton’s other chance is last start winner, MY MONEY which caught the eye of the track watchers during the week with a strong workout on Tuesday. Due to the early cancellation of the races last Sunday, the eight year old did not run but has a chance of going back to back in the 1300m Class 5 (Race 11).
