Race Summary: ADDIENA impressed in her first two starts this season but couldn’t pull off a hat-trick. She had excuses last time and from gate one can make amends. LOOKING HOT was an unlucky loser the last time she raced on the poly and has been holding form upcountry. She has drawn well and should have every chance. BECKONING BEAUTY was hampered at a crucial stage two weeks ago and is carded to run prior – watch how she does there first. TRAFALGAR SQUARE and GREY OCEAN should give the above mentioned females a hard time on current form.

Race Summary: RAFIKI has had a tough time in the Western Cape but hasn’t disgraced herself. She could enjoy the change of pace here and could make a winning poly debut. Highveld gelding GIMME A DREAM is likely to find this short but he too has form strong enough to win. He also has gate one to aid his chances. SAKA GOLD has been a bit disappointing but will get the timing right one of these days. ROY’S JULY MAGIC and OLYMPIC STANDARD are starting to get the hang of things and need to be considered for exotic bets. MOON HARVEST and TIGER IN RED need to find more to feature.

Race Summary: TIME FOR CHARITY ran a much better race with blinkers fitted last time. She looks to be coming to hand at the right time as she has secured draw one on poly debut. MISS DORA is holding form and came close to winning a maiden handicap in November. However, she is carded to run prior and the run needs to be checked first. ROWINS DREAM, like TIME FOR CHARITY, is Highveld-based and has shown potential. She makes her debut for a local yard but has a wide draw to overcome. COUNTY KILDARE is holding form well but could find MISS DORA one to beat at the weights.

Race Summary: ASHFORD CASTLE is unbeaten in three tries on this surface but is racing after a rest and may need it. He has, however, been gifted draw one. BLACKWHITEDYNAMITE could take advantage if the former proves in need of it. He was beaten in a close finish by an improving sort and the form line may prove to be a decent one. DESOLATE ROAD has been plagued by wide draws and should have his work cut out yet again but is not one to take lightly at the weights. It could get close again between JUSTAGUYTHING and BEECHAMWOOD BOY who are in sparkling form.

Race Summary: ULTIMATE JEWEL has produced two decent efforts over different distances and is obviously knocking hard. He has drawn well again and can get it right. HIS MASTER’S VOICE appears the big threat. He confirmed the big improvement he made in his penultimate, running well after a rest last time. He should improve on his earlier poly try. CUP OF MAGIC has run well on both poly and turf at this venue. Given too much to do coming from far back last time, he could be the dark horse. VALERIAN NIGHT and WHIZ BANG (draw one) have scope and could also threaten.

Race Summary: ROYAL KITTY is in the form of her life and could add to her tally. GREEN DREAM looked dangerous when beaten only 0,60-lengths by the former and is now 3,5kg better off at the weights. She has run second three times in her last six outings and could be rewarded. Watch out for GIN AND TONIC who last won off a higher rating (from the worst gate) when racing on the poly. She wasn’t disgraced on her last Highveld try but has drawn widest again. CATALEYA SUMMER impressed with frontrunning tactics and could be dangerous again. More can earn.

Race Summary: MVULUZANA has shown she can settle and could see out the longer distance. She is in good nick and should fight it out. ZINIKELE is another that can switch off and turn it on late. She has stamina in her pedigree and a better gate than MVULUZANA. If CHELSEA FLOWER doesn’t mind the sudden drop in distance she could show mettle when it matters most. She won well on the poly earlier. MARIA COROLINA is hard to catch on the turf but has yet to win on this surface. She should be right there on form though. ANGEL’S WISH could be the lurker with a light weight.

Race Summary: FEELING GROOVY over-raced and still ran well last time. She looks to have matured and the shorter distance may be just what the doctor ordered. SPLASH OF GREEN has dropped 10 merit rating points since she first tried her luck in this region. She could pop up even though her recent Highveld form hasn’t been inspiring. SHELL SEEKER is holding form and just needs a bit of luck. She could prefer this longer distance on the poly. Many with outside chances. GIMME A LULLABY (draw one) and TABATHA CAT could upset.
