Race Summary: ASARULUDU runs as if in need of this longer 1400m. After finishing runner-up in both starts over 1200m, he can open his account. CORSICAN found his stable mate Barbatti and one other too good last time but stripping fitter and racing from draw one could finish stronger. L’ULTIMO had Barbatti beat in his last start and as a result could give CORSICAN a hard time. Watch out for CAPTAIN CORRUPT who makes his local debut at Hollywoodbets Scottsville a few days prior. He could be anything first time on the polytrack. More can earn.

Race Summary: SEA OF TEARS has been campaigning over sprint distances but is bred to enjoy this longer trip. It is a maiden handicap and she carries top weight but could still get it right from draw one. DILLUH showed potential in her penultimate when coming from last to finish fourth on this surface. She wasn’t too far off SEA OF TEARS earlier and could be dangerous at the weights this time. She has drawn alongside the top selection. MISSION ROCKS and PIXIE IN LOVE look to be in the right race to put up career best efforts. Highveld-based LITTLE LADY may relish the poly surface.

Race Summary: This could turn into a two-horse duel between JOHNNY’S HOPE and GREENBACKCURRENCY. The latter (top rated) is one point higher on official merit ratings but the former has a 2,5kg apprentice claim and a better gate and it could be a thriller. VALERIAN NIGHT hasn’t done badly in two starts and seems capable of showing a lot more. He is quickly raced again after running a week ago and could also be super fit this time round. AGAMEMNON has shown some potential and could get into the money.

Race Summary: FLEET COMMANDER was most unlucky not to get a clear run at this tight track last time. That run is best ignored and from draw two he should rate a serious chance. ZOOBERI found his last race short and should come on nicely over the longer distance. He enjoys racing handy and should be right there at the finish. CAESURA scored win number nine last time out and it will take a brave punter to bet he doesn’t achieve double figures before he retires. He has draw one and should make them all run hard. BEND THE RULES and TOM’S ACT also need to be taken seriously.

Race Summary: SPIRIT OF MY FATE looks well placed. His rating has come down a bit and he is back on his favourite surface. A slow start may have cost RODRIGUEZ the win last time. He is knocking and should run another honest race. AL’S MY DADDY has been a bit disappointing but he was second to top poly specialist Priceless Ruler a few runs back and is dropping in class. GRIMALDI has gone from having the worst draw in his last start to the best back on his favourite surface. He too could suddenly becoming competitive again. PEWTER SKY needs to show more consistency.

Race Summary: A lower division sprint for fillies and mares should see good payouts. CASA ROSADA didn’t enjoy 1400m in her penultimate but that is the only blemish on her recent form. She has drawn well for the second time in two starts and could take advantage. ASPOESTERTJIE won a nice race when trying the minimum trip for the first time. If she brings that form to the poly she could make a decent handicap debut. MAGICALLEE has the pace to overcome her wide draw and could be hard to catch. VISION OF WILL is another that cannot be taken lightly. SHONA KIRSTY YVES could be the dark horse.

Race Summary: AISLING has been dominating on the poly and looks capable of winning again. Her merit rating has reached 87 but it must be remembered that she was once a 99. LOVE BOMB has also shown high class potential at times and could be dangerous if finding best form. Her last win was over 1700m but from draw one could mount a challenge. TOTO battled from a wide draw after a slow start last time and that run is best ignored. She could bounce back and challenge AISLING this time. LADY LEGEND and RETAIL THERAPY deserve respect in this line-up.

Race Summary: LOU LOU THE LEGEND won his maiden in good style and could have made further improvement during a break, but has his work cut out from a wide gate. GIAMBATTISTA has a strong finish but will also need luck as he has drawn widest. FIERY DUKE could take advantage. He has been knocking hard and just needs to get the timing right. SON OF SILK showed something in his penultimate and had valid excuses after a long break last time. QUIZ MASTER has finally secured a good draw and could be the dark horse especially off his lower current rating. More in it.
