Market support for first-timers GRADUATION TIME and LINDBERGH should also be taken seriously. ICY BLAST and KYOMAI have the form and experience to make their presence felt. The latter was 2nd on debut over track and trip, so ought to play a leading role with natural improvement expected.

Race Summary: GO LIKE FLO finished strongly after a slow start over 1000m last time and, on that evidence, ought to go close with the extra 200m likely to suit. She finished ahead of YGRITTE and HIERKOMMIEBOKKIE and should confirm that form. The latter improved after a break last time and would’ve tightened up since so could pose more of a threat. LA PURA VIDA made a pleasing Cape introduction and is capable of building on that effort. SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL has the form and experience to also make her presence felt.

Race Summary: THEWOLFOFWOLSELEY relocated from the Highveld and returned after a rest and gelding to finish a creditable 4th over track and trip. He ought to have tightened up since so should have more to give. SAN PEDRO failed to build on a pleasing debut in his second start but has subsequently been gelded so could also have more to offer. KATSU, KEBONALESEDI and RAINBOW COLOURS are all capable of better and could get into the picture. Well-bred newcomers ROSH KEDESH and TAMBOURINE MAN must be respected, especially if the market speaks in their favour. NOBLE CITY is another to note on debut.

Race Summary: Wide open. MEDLERS TART and FIELDS OF GREEN are well drawn and capable of having a say over this trip getting weight from a few rivals. SUPREME DREAM improved to finish ahead of the latter last time out and should have more to offer. TYPEFACE and TUSCANY disappointed when last seen but both remain capable of better. ESTIMATED wasn’t disgraced from a wide draw on debut and will be wiser to the task this time around. So too returning YOUCRACKMEUP who was heavily supported on debut. BUSY LIZZIE and MARY LAMB are closely matched on the form of a recent meeting and should appreciate the extra 200m.

Race Summary: Progressive PONTE PIETRA will need further to be seen to best effect but has the ability to run well fresh over this shorter trip. AXL made an encouraging comeback from a rest over a shorter trip and with improved fitness on his side should make his presence felt. FORT RED landed a gamble over this track and trip last time out, earning himself a 4-point penalty, and is unlikely to be far off the mark again. WINTER PEARL and TUSCAN GOLD are better off on these terms and could get into the action as a result. MASKED VIGILANTE has dropped to an attractive mark and isn’t without a chance either.

BRIGHT GREEN and GLADATORIAN return from respective absences but are favourably treated by the conditions and at the weights should be competitive if fit enough to do so.

Maturing ALLENDE opened her account when fitted with cheekpieces and should go well again with that headgear retained. MAGNETIC DIME, CAMILLE CLAUDEL, PORQUE TE VAS and COPPER VIEW are capable of getting into the action. BODY ELECTRIC must confirm the improvement she showed last time in order to feature. Tricky!

There’ll be little between the pair on these revised terms and they’re likely to dominate the finish. KZN raider SEE IT AGAIN is an exciting 3yo colt with bigger targets on his agenda, though it wouldn’t come as a surprise were he to put in a forward showing on his track debut. Consistent LOOK FOR HOUNDS and returning PACAYA will keep those principal contenders honest.

Stablemates STEINBECK and NIGHT RULER are closely matched and likely to pose a threat again on these terms, though neither has yet to race beyond 1800m.
