Quality four-year-old BEAUTY ETERNAL looks all set to land back-to-back wins at Sha Tin on Sunday when he contests the Class 3 1400m Handicap.
BEAUTY ETERNAL scored an emphatic debut win in early October last year, stepping away from barrier 14 and racing wide throughout, but coasting clear to score easily by two lengths. That was in Class 4, so he was straight up into Class 3 thereafter where he checked home a neck in third, but it was a run littered with excuses.
The John Size-trained up-and-comer then spelled for a couple of months and resumed on 21 January, giving his rivals a galloping lesson as he again raced wide throughout from a wide draw but still gapped the runner-up by a length.
BEAUTY ETERNAL rises to 1400m for the first time on Sunday, which should be right up his alley, and with plenty of upside to come, while meeting moderate opposition, he’ll be hard to out sprint.
