Race Summary: PRETTY ANALIA has improved of late and finished well in her last start at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. She is dropping in distance but the fitting of blinkers may help. MISS DORA was well beaten by PRETTY ANALIA last time but frontrunning tactics may not have worked in that instance. She has run well over this shorter distance and is likely to go well in this. GUEST GETORRIX has gone from having the worst of the draws to the best. She has been costly to follow but could come out firing after a rest. MAGICAL STONES didn’t race in a strong field on Highveld debut but is not one to take lightly.

Race Summary: GREY OCEAN is holding form and looks well placed. He has finished ahead of both BECKONING BEAUTY and GET CARTER and due to his apprentice claim is weighted to have their measure again. The only negative is that he has drawn widest. GET CARTER has yet to win over the shorter distance but his last run was encouraging and he could get the race run to suit. BECKONING BEAUTY was denied a neck in a stronger race and rates the form choice. She has a decent draw to boot. TANGERINE PEARL and STAR IN WINTER are youngsters who have drawn well and could show more.

Race Summary: Highveld-based filly SKY VELOCITY and PIXIE IN LOVE have earned top weights in this maiden handicap. The former has finished second in two of her last four starts and having drawn well should have every chance. She will be making her Polytrack debut. PIXIE IN LOVE has drawn widest but in her favour she has shown versatility by running on well over shorter and further. This in-between trip could just be what she is looking for. She also has an in-form claiming apprentice up. QUEEN JACKSON needed her last run and could show a lot more this time. SATURN MOON, SACRED LILY and ISIPHETHO can earn.

Race Summary: It could get close again between AMERICAN DREAM, LUCRETIUS and EXCEED EXPECTATION. EXCEED EXPECTATION had to switch in last time and that may have cost him. He can race closer to the pace but is going a bit further now. AMERICAN DREAM was eye catching and gave the impression he could also prove to be effective over the longer distance. LUCRETIUS is back over his best distance and could take advantage but he is looking for a good pace. LORD MINVER and HIGH GREEN could ensure a decent pace while HEY BILL ran recently and should be super fit.

Race Summary: ANGEL’S WISH ran well in a stronger race on her poly debut in her penultimate start. She followed that up with a third placing where Go Flichity, who finished behind her, came out to win a nice race over further. She has drawn well and can open her account BAY BREEZE found the pace a bit slow last time and over-raced. She can step up on that from a good gate. JUST VIRGINIA was knocking at the door before taking on a strong field last time. She can get closer. QUE FOR YOU could dictate again but SAYULITA won well from the front and may take her on. INGAKARA has claims as well.

Race Summary: Competitive. ACACIA’S BLOSSOM won a nice race in her comeback to the poly. She is probably still on the up and now matured could turn it around with AISLING and TOTO who beat her previously. While the latter two are not ones to take lightly and should be in the fight, a bigger threat could come from LOVE BOMB who showed something like her best when taking TOTO to the wire in her penultimate. She looks to have found 1000m too short in her last start. WINTER’S DESTINY has gate No 1 and should be right on top of them. WARSHIP is unbeaten on the poly, watch out.

Race Summary: Plenty frontrunners should ensure a solid gallop. GIN AND TONIC has a good record on the poly and may not need to go to the front like she did last time. She can add to her tally. QUANABI could also benefit from a good pace and run better than she did last time. She must have a say off bottom weight. EAU DE VIE carries the same weight and can improve after finding her last start a bit far. She showed potential as a juvenile. CRAZY BLUES has run well in stronger races but has her work cut out from a wide gate. FAMILY FAVOURITE impressed but along with MARIA COROLINA has yet to win at this track.

Race Summary: KABON KAPI won her maiden in good style, suggesting her previous poly runs weren’t a true reflection of her ability. She is improving and may just overcome her wide draw and make a successful handicap debut. After winning well BIRDWATCHER again recorded the fastest finish but found one better and had to settle for second last time. She has drawn well but along with STAR CHOICE will need the race run to suit. Both GIMME A LULLABY and FORGED IN ICE seem to have patchy form but are capable of putting in bold bids, especially as they have secured the landed the best two draws respectively.

Race Summary: ZOOBERI can’t be faulted on form and may just be looking for 1400m on the poly. He should have every chance from gate No 1. GENTLEMAN’S WAY produced a good finish to take second behind useful Cape gelding William Rufus and that could be a decent form line. SON OF SILK had everything go his way last time but also has room for improvement. MASTER OF LAW finished fastest in his last two starts and now back on poly could make a return to the winner’s enclosure. WINTER WAVES wasn’t disgraced in a stronger contest last time and could be dangerous.
