R1 – PRIX JEAN-PAUL LATRUBESSE – 1000m (a5f) – TURF – Claiming – Flat – EUR € 15.000

1. MISSTIFLY – Unraced son of GARSWOOD, the Dam was a winner, Market guide best to
performance.
2. SOUVENIR D’ECAJEUL – Unraced colt by LAWMAN, out of a Dam that won a Listed Race. Will
be expected to be ready for this on his debut.
3. PAGANY – Unraced daughter of CLOTH OF STARS will likely find things happening a bit too
fast over this trip. One for another day.
4. YANA CHOPE – Unplaced at Saint-Cloud over 900m 19 days ago. Others rate higher.
5. SUBLIME CHOPE – 5th on debut at this track over 1000m 16 days ago. Can improve and looks
a key player.
6. ELUGO – Down the field when racing at this track over 1000m 16 days ago. Needs to show a lot
more to be involved.
7. PICOLA – Unplaced over 900m at Saint-Cloud 10 days ago. Will be a bit more streetwise this
time.
8. ECLAIRE LA VIE – Unplaced at this track over 1000m 16 days ago. Has work to do to feature.
9. JEEZ LOUISE – Unplaced over 900m at Saint-Cloud recently. Needs quick improvement to figure.

Summary : In what looks like a modest contest on what those who have run have shown. The
unraced SOUVENIER D’ECAJEUL (2) can make a winning start to his career. SUBLIME CHOPE
(5) ran with some promise on her only start and looks like her experience could make her the
biggest rival. PICOLA (7) is one for the place backers, as she will improve for her debut run.
MISSTIFLY (1) from a trainer who knows how to ready a juvenile, should not be dismissed.

SELECTIONS
SOUVENIR D’ECAJEUL (2) – SUBLIME CHOPE (5) – PICOLA (7) – MISSTIFLY (1)

R2 – PRIX DU DOCTEUR JACQUES MAUZE – 1800m (a1 1/8m) – TURF – Condition Race – Class 2 – Flat – EUR € 22.000

1. LODOVICO – 3rd at Cagnes-Sur-Mer in a Class 2 in February. The slight drop back in trip should
not be too much of a concern. Form pick.
2. MURANO – 4th over 1600m on the latest run at this track. Has to raise the bar to beat some of
these.
3. KIEVSKY – Won at Pau on the second try last December over 1600m. Can be expected to be
involved.
4. ROMARIN – Unraced by MR OWEN, any market guide best advised to expected performance.
5. GRIMAUD – Won at Toulouse in March over 2100m, wears cheekpieces, and looks a stayer.
Slight drop back in trip today. Should not to be ruled out.
6. ATHANASIA – Stayed on strongly to win at Toulouse over 1600m in March, the extra 200m will
be appreciated. Player.

Summary : A good run in a Class 2 in February by LODOVICO (1) makes him the likely favorite
and is the selection. ATHANASIA (6) made a favorable impression when winning at Toulouse and
can be involved again here. KIEVSKY (3) can be expected to be fit enough for his return and is in
the mix. GRIMAUD (5) ground out a win when last seen, after being to the fore throughout, is
another to consider in what looks like a competitive event.

SELECTIONS
LODOVICO (1) – ATHANASIA (6) – KIEVSKY (3) – GRIMAUD (5)

R3 – PRIX MISS ALLEGED – 2400m (a1 1/2m) – TURF – Divised Handicap – Class 2 – Flat – EUR € 53.000

1. INTERSTELLA – May have been anchored by a 4kg penalty last time out when fifth. Pulled off
four in a row before that and is not out of it.
2. BAZOQUES – Unreliable but is coming off a nice handicap win last time out. A 2kg penalty will
make it hard for her to follow-up. Place chance.
3. FRESH KISS – May have needed her comeback run or perhaps did not like the PSF. Did well in
2022 winning three times and must be respected.
4. ZILYA – Has won twice on the PSF this year but has struggled in most of her handicap runs on
the turf and others are preferred.
5. DARKANIYA – First time in a handicap and clearly needed her comeback run. Won well over
this distance on debut and has a winning chance.
6. DARY CI – Placed in a Listed and Group111 as a three-year-old. Been disappointing since but
her handicap mark continues to drop and can surprise.
7. GULF – A winner twice in 2022 but she has struggled in her two handicaps runs this year and
needs to find a few lengths to win this race.
8. HILLARANTE – Returned to form with a solid win on the PSF. Penalized 3kgs for that win will
make it tougher but deserves respect.
9. LA MANDOLA – Fit and did run third on handicap debut but was a bitter disappointment last
time out. Prefer others this time.
10. ALJANAH – Supplemented for this race but is returning from a break. Disappointing last run
but is capable of running well.
11. WOOZHYNA – First run in a handicap and is returning from a break. Consistent form in 2022
but may need this run.
12. LIGHTS COME ON – Very consistent this year and has won three of them. A 4kg penalty for
her latest win could anchor her but she has to be considered.
13. AHA – Took 12 starts to break her maiden but did it well on the PSF at this track. Good third
last time out and should be right there at the finish.
14. MORISOT – Proved her worth in a handicap last time out when runner-up over this course and
distance. Should make a bold bid.
15. PAIDEIA – Consistent this year in two handicaps. May have to do more to win this race but is
clearly not out of it.
16. ROLLEVILLE – Only modest in her runs this year and has been struggling in handicaps for
some time now. Others are preferred.

Summary : MORISOT (14) is one of many in this race that are threatening to win off their current
handicap mark. The difference with her is that she competed against males in a big field handicap
so gets the vote to score. HILLARANTE (8) probably prefers the PSF and will be carrying a 3kg
penalty but could still be a danger. AHA (13) looks to be progressing and is not out of it. PAIDEIA
(15) has also done enough of late to earn some respect this time.

SELECTIONS
MORISOT (14) – HILLARANTE (8) – AHA (13) – PAIDEIA (15)

R4 – PRIX AL SAKBE – WATHBA STALLIONS CUP – 1900m (a1 3/16m) – TURF – Condition Race – Flat – EUR € 16.000

1. MEJLAD – 2nd at Toulouse over 2100m in March. Should have no fitness worries and looks a
key player.
2. MUSANDAM – 6th at Pau in February over 2000m. Needs a lot more and others rate higher in
this.
3. JAZZ DE NACRE – Unplaced at Pau over 2000m in February. Looks out of his depth in this.
4. MANABB – Has almost 4L to make up on MEJLAD (1) from the race at Toulouse when finishing
4th. Can play a role.
5. JOUAD DE CARRERE – Did not feature when unplaced at Toulouse over 2000m last June. Will
probably benefit from today’s run off a layoff.
6. DHAKIR – Unplaced at Pau over 2000m in February. Needs a lot more to feature.
7. CARSHABB – 3rd at Dax over 1400m last September. The extra distance should be of benefit
and holds every chance.
8. U WISH – 2nd at Agen over 2500m in October. The significant drop back in trip may not play to
his strengths.
9. NAHIM – Ran well when 2nd over 1600m in a Group 3 last October at Toulouse. Will be fit for
this return to the racecourse.
10. JUMANAH – 6th at Mont-De-Marsan over 2000m in March. Can be involved at the business
end.
11. ABABYL – Unplaced at Toulouse over 1400m in March. Unlikely to trouble some of these.
12. BOSHRA – Ran unplaced at Mont-De-Marsan over 2000m in March. Hard to fancy on the latest
effort.
13. BILAL DE MONLAU – Unraced son of DAHESS, from a good yard. Will be well tuned for a
good show on debut.
14. CHOUF THE STAR – Unraced Colt by NJEWMAN, the betting market is the best guide to
performance expected.
15. KAYAW AL CASSAGNE – Unraced Colt by JOSCO DU CAYROO, the market best guide to
expected performance.
16. AL HADAB – Unraced son of JAAFER, will be expected to run well from a good stable on
racecourse debut.
17. ASSOUAN – Unraced son of MUNJIZ, the betting market is the best guide to expected
performance.
18. AA SHANGHAI – Unraced daughter of BASQ AL KHALEDIAH, any market support will gauge
expected performance.

Summary : NAHIM (9) will probably head the betting market and can improve for a good run when
last seen in October when second in a Group 3. MEJLAD (1) looks like the likely main threat to the
selection and the slight drop back in distance should not be a concern. MANABB (4) has a bit of
ground to make up on MEJLAD on their last meeting, although ought to be in the shake-up.
CARSHABB (7) is another to consider for the place backers.

SELECTIONS
NAHIM (9) – MEJLAD (1) – MANABB (4) – CARSHABB (7)

R5 – PRIX DE FRAUENFELD – 2000m (a1 1/4m) – TURF – Condition Race – Class 2 – Flat – EUR € 28.000

1. MORHIB – A winner of a claimer in February but struggled in a handicap last time out and unlikely
to win this race.
2. IVANOWITCH – Not disgraced when third in his comeback run. Step up in distance should suit
and has a winning chance.
3. KING OF RECORDS – Good first three runs of his career in 2022. Returns from a break but is
clearly not out of it.
4. SWING VOTE – A good winner on debut and the runner-up has already won since. Tries the
grass this time but looks the one to beat.
5. VALIDATOS – A three-year-old colt by Recoletos out of Validator who is making his debut. Tough
task and watch the betting.

Summary : A small field but it doe have quality. SWING VOTE (4) did all hat was asked of him on
debut and the runner-up has since won which stamps his form. He is trying the grass this time but
is clearly the one to beat. IVANOWITCH (2) ran well in his comeback and should like the longer
distance this time so will not go down easily. KING OF RECORDS (3) may lack for fitness returning
from a break but has done well so far and is not out of it.

SELECTIONS
SWING VOTE (4) – IVANOWITCH (2) – KING OF RECORDS (3) – VALIDATOS (5)

R6 – PRIX JACQUES MELLER – 1600m (a1m) – TURF – Condition Race – Class 2 – Flat – EUR € 22.000

1. MAROON SIX – Ran with credit when 4th at Cagnes-Sur-Mer in January over 1300m. Likely to
give another good account.
2. RUSSIPANT FAL – Should benefit from a recent 4th in a Class 1 at this track late last month. Is
sure to be fitter for that and has solid claims.
3. DIZZY – 3rd at Dax over 1900m in March. Has a bit to find on some smart rivals.
4. BENNETOT – Nice run when 4th at Cagnes-Sur-Mer in a Listed Race over 1600m in March. May
just have enough to win.
5. AXDAVALI – Did nothing wrong when 4th at Chantilly over 1600m in March. Can take a step
forward from that and is a live player.
6. MOUTARDE – Was 3rd at Bordeaux Le Bouscat over 1400m in a Class 2 last October. Will likely
need today’s return run.
7. BURNING EMOTION – 5th at Bordeaux Le Bouscat over 1900m in March. Others rate higher in
a strong race.
8. BREAKING LIGHT – UK import was last seen when unplaced at Goodwood in July last year.
May find a few too good here.

Summary : BENNETOT (4) ran well when fourth in a Listed Race last month. Can be fitter for that
and is the marginal choice pick. AXDAVALI (5) is rated only 0.5kg top rated and ran well when
fourth at Chantilly, he is another one of three closely matched in the lineup, who should fill the first
three places. RUSSIPANT FAL (2) is the last of the trio of horses in this race, with very small
margins between them. MAROON SIX (1) could be the fly in the ointment for the three which will
likely head the betting market, he will give a good account of himself.

SELECTIONS
BENNETOT (4) – AXDAVALI (5) – RUSSIPANT FAL (2) – MAROON SIX (1)

R7 – PRIX DU PREMIER PAS – 1000m (a5f) – TURF – Condition Race – Newcomers – Flat – EUR € 50.000

14. SUNNY ANGEL – A two year old filly by Harry Angel out of Sorciere who is making her debut.
15. LE BROK CAFE – A two-year-old filly by Dandy Man out of Some Style who is making her
debut.

Summary : Trainer Amy Murphy has done very well with her juveniles and LE BROK CAFE (15)
could do her proud once again. CAPE CANNON (4) is another that should be ready to run well on
debut. All of GENTLEMAN BEAUTY (5), RAMATUELLE (11) and SUNNY ANGEL (14) are possible
speed juveniles but as normal for these affairs the betting market is usually the best to watch for
guidance.

SELECTIONS
LE BROK CAFE (15) – CAPE CANNON (4) – SUNNY ANGEL (14) – RAMATUELLE (11)

R8 – PRIX JEAN BARDON – 2000m (a1 1/4m) – TURF – Divised Handicap –Class 4 – Flat – EUR € 16.000

1. DANN – Unplaced on the latest run in March over 1600m at Mont-De-Marsan. Has been out of
form so happy to avoid.
2. FORZA SEDACA – Has dropped for some poor efforts over various trips of late. Hard to fancy.
3. SOLITARY MAN – Ran well when 4th in December at Pau over 2000m. May need this run on
return from a break.
4. FARZANEH – Has dropped 4kg, after some unplaced efforts. Can be involved at likely decent
odds.
5. QUEEN LIBERTY – Fluffed lines when last seen. Although three good runs prior with a win and
two runner up positions, the latter over 1850m at Agen. Top choice.
6. SPANISH CARA – 2nd at San Sebastian (Spain) over 1600m 13 days ago. Will need a lot more
to beat some of these.
7. CHIEF’S APP – 2nd two outings ago at Agen over 1850m in November. If running to a similar
level could be placed at big odds.
8. REAL LIFE – Has dropped 9.5kg in the ratings since a win last March at Machecoul a year ago.
If running close to that win, could pop up at attractive odds.
9. SAVILE ROW – Is another to have dropped to a rating that gives every indication of a good run.
The latest effort at Toulouse was credible last month over 2100m. Place bet a must.
10. SYRAH MALPIC – 3rd at Auch last November over 2650m. Could be in need of today’s return
outing.
11. GOUT SUCRE – Ran well when 4th at Toulouse over 1600m last month, and has dropped to a
fair rating. Top-three chance.
12. LUCTOR – Seems to be out of form at the moment. Has dropped in the ratings, but others rate
higher.
13. KUKO – 3rd at Mont -De-Marsan in March over 2000m. Can put in another good run here and
is in the mix.
14. BECQUANON – Seems to be out of form at the moment. Best watched for now.
15. LEVANT – 2nd off 1.5kg higher four runs ago at Pau. Needs to recapture that sort of form to
feature.
16. A GIBRALTAR – After five poor runs has dropped in the ratings, did win off a similar mark at
Pau. Can place at big odds.
17. MOLINO – A close 4th at The Mans in a divided handicap over 1950m in March. Off a nice
weight, has a leading role to play.
18. BILWAUKEE – A winner at Pau two runs ago over 2000m in January. Can make presence felt.

Summary : In an open-looking race, QUEEN LIBERTY (5) could be the one to go with, she fluffed
her lines when last seen, but three good runs prior to that below-par effort, make her the selection.
MOLINO (17) off a low weight can be competitive in an open race. KUKO (13) ran a better race
last time when third, he can build on that and once again be involved. GOUT SUCRE (11) has
gradually dropped to a rating that gives him a decent chance of being in the shake-up.

SELECTIONS
QUEEN LIBERTY (5) – MOLINO (17) – KUKO (13) – GOUT SUCRE (11)

R9 – PRIX DU HAMEAU DE LA BICHE – 1900m (a1 3/16m) – ALL WEATHER – Divised Handicap – Class 4 – Flat – EUR € 15.000

1. HOT SUMMER – Third in a handicap at Chantilly in his penultimate start but is on a long losing
streak and others are preferred for win purposes.
2. GOT FROST – Disappointing last run but has been threatening to win a race off his current mark
so deserves respect.
3. CONFINED QUEEN – She has yet to win a race after 16 attempts and has struggled in her runs
this year. Others are much preferred.
4. LA COTILIENNE GREY – She has really struggled in her runs this year including in two
handicaps and is unlikely to win.
5. SPEED OF THOUGHT – Poor form in three starts of this year. Won a handicap off a higher mark
in 2021 so cannot be written off entirely.
6. LANDARYNA – Improving and was third off this handicap mark last time out. Has a winning
chance this course and distance.
7. AZAZEL – Has yet to win a race but has run some nice races around this mark in handicaps and
has a winning chance.
8. BECH RIVER – Modest last two runs on the turf. Best recent run was over this distance and on
the PSF. Winning chance.
9. QUIZ EVOLUTION – Unreliable and is returning from a break so is likely to need this run. Knows
how to win though and can upset.
10. ENJOY THE SILENCE – Well tried this year without much success. Will prefer it back here on
the PSF and has a place chance.
11. MARY WHITE – Her only win was a claimer in 2021 and has been struggling for some time now
including her only start of 2023.
12. PAPA WINNER – Clearly a hard horse to win with having had 96 starts for just the one win. Fair
fourth-placed finish in the last two starts. Place chance.
13. WISEITEN – Fair fifth last time out but has only really been modest in France and more than a
place cannot be asked of him.
14. ZAVERNA – She has tended to struggle when racing in France and is likely to need this
comeback race. Others are much preferred.

Summary : A number of these looking to hold a winning chance in a tough race. LANDARYNA (6)
could be course and distance suited and did well enough to be third in a handicap last time out.
BECH RIVER (8) is better than the last wo runs suggest and could be danger. AZAZEL (7) is
threatening a break out win and deserves respect. GOT FROST (2) is overdue another win after
some good runs of late.

SELECTIONS
LANDARYNA (6) – BECH RIVER (8) – AZAZEL (7) – GOT FROST (2)

R10 – PRIX DU PAQUODROME – 2000m (a1 1/4m) – TURF – Divised Handicap – Class 3 – Flat – EUR € 20.000

1. YQUELON – Won at Toulouse over 2100m beating MEXICAN DREAM (4), meets that rival here
on less favourable terms, and may struggle to confirm that run.
2. VALLEE D’ENFER – Won at Pau two runs ago over 2000m in December. Ran reasonably well
last time. In the mix.
3. ONE MORE NIGHT – Won at Pornichet over 2100m in March. In form and has to be considered
a player.
4. MEXICAN DREAM – Nice effort when 2nd at Toulouse over 2100m in March. Bold run anticipated.
5. BACIVER – Unplaced at Royan 9 days ago over 1600m. Needs a fair bit more to feature.
6. LAVANDIER – Four modest runs of late over various trips. Best watched for now.
7. XARUN – The latest six runs have not inspired. A 4th place two runs ago was the best of them.
Has a bit to prove.
8. HEAVEN CITY – 2nd two runs ago at Pau over 2000m in January. Could be one for the each
way backers.
9. NATHAN – 4th over 1400m at Toulouse in March. Can play a role in this at the business end.
10. SCHWANENSEE – Won at Toulouse when last seen 24 days ago, which was over 2100m.
Leading chance.
11. ASSIER – Three less than encouraging runs after a win at Pau over 2000m in February. Needs
to bounce back to his best form to have a say.
12. TITE NANA – 4th over 1900m at this venue in March. Usually on the premises.

Summary : MEXICAN DREAM (4) ran a good race at Toulouse when second and looks like the
first choice in an open event. SCHWANENSEE (10) can be considered the main rival after a recent
win. YQUELON (1) is another to have winning form at Toulouse and can be one for each way
players. NATHAN (9) also seems to be running well and can not be ruled out of being competitive
in this.

SELECTIONS
MEXICAN DREAM (4) – SCHWANENSEE (10) – YQUELON (1) – NATHAN (9)

R11 – PRIX DU CHAMP D’ALOUETTE – 1800m (a1 1/8m) – TURF – Condition Race – Class 2 – Flat – EUR € 28.000

1. PERLE ROUGE – A winner of three races in 2022 but has not been as good this year and needs
to find a few lengths to win this race.
2. SCHUTZENPRINZ – Won twice in Germany in 2022 and has been very consistent so far. Returns
from a break but deserves some respect.
3. MY FANCY – May have just needed his comeback run when trying the PSF. Fitter now and was
third in a Gr111 last year. Big chance.
4. SOLAR SCIENCE – Made the expected improvement off a solid debut to score in his second
start. Returns from a break but should make a bold bid.
5. MACHETE – Won twice on the PSF in 2022. Fair fourth in only start of 2023 and can contest the
finish yet again.
6. LA PELEMOISE – A nice win on the PSF on debut but did not repeat it on the turf in her second
start. Others are preferred this time.

Summary : Another small field but this does look more competitive. MY FANCY (3) was third in a
Gr111 last year and if getting back to that level he will be the one to beat. SOLAR SCIENCE (4)
looks promising and has not done much wrong so far but is returning from a break. MACHETE (5)
will not lack for fitness after a good fourth in his comeback start. SCHUTZENPRINZ (2) has done
well in Germany and will need to confirm that form.

SELECTIONS
MY FANCY (3) – SOLAR SCIENCE (4) – MACHETE (5) – SCHUTZENPRINZ (2)

R12 – PRIX DU PAVE DE THIERS – 1900m (a1 3/16m) – ALL WEATHER – Divised Handicap – Class 3 – Flat – EUR € 22.000

1. SIM CARD – Knocking hard at the door and has been runner-up four times off this handicap
mark. Deserves a win soon.
2. HOOLONG – Only sixth last time out over this course and distance and was probably anchored
by 4kg penalty for previous win. Deserves respect.
3. LADY ARIELLA – Has lost her way since winning her only race at Vichy in July 2022 including
some poor runs this year.
4. LE QUEEN – Has yet to win a race but his last two starts were fair and could possibly sneak
some minor place.
5. GARDOL MOON – Fit but she remains an unreliable filly and needs to do more to win. Might
play a minor role though.
6. MAGURO – Has yet to win a race and he has only been modest in five starts of 2023. Needs to
do more to win this race.
7. MR SLICKER – Disappointing last two starts after winning at this track in February. Could play a
minor role.
8. BLEUSKY – Has struggled in her runs in 2023 and last two wins were claimers. Probably better
suited to that category.
9. GIDEON GREY – A nice winner of first start of 2023 but has struggle din two handicaps since
then and others are preferred this time.
10. LIGHT WAKEUP – Disappointing run on the turf last time out. Won over this course and
distance in the penultimate run and has a winning chance.
11. SIMARUBA – Put in her best run of the year when third last time out. Could finish in the money
once again.
12. MAJORDOMO – Only win was a claimer in March 2022 and four runs this year were moderate.
Others are much preferred.
13. SEA WINGS – On a long losing streak and form he has lost his way of late but he is always
capable of popping up in a place.
14. JANGA – Form regressed after his handicap win at Saint Cloud in June but could improve
returning from a break.
15. FROSTY BAY – Course and distance clearly suits and was runner-up in a handicap off her
current mark last time out. Has a winning chance.

Summary : Four times a runner-up in handicaps off his current mark makes SIM CARD (1) an
unlucky horse. He deserves a win surely. HOOLONG (2) picked up a 4kg penalty for his latest win
which may have resulted in only a sixth-place finish last time out. Leave him out at your peril.
FROSTY BAY (15) was runner-up over this course and distance last time out and can one better.
SIMARUBA (11) improved to run third last time out and could earn some more money.
