1. ASAL – Mikel Delzangles-trained and Aga Khan-owned Anodin gelding to be ridden on debut by
Eddy Hardouin. One to note
2. RUNNING THE GAME – Almanzor first-timer out of a mare who showed both speed and quality.
Has already been gelded but warrants respect
3. BAHAYRA – Lope De Vega filly whose dam showed quality over 2400m. Apprentice rider Léa
Bails takes 1,5kg off the back
4. WINNING SIDE – Well-related Fastnet Rock filly trained by Pascal Bary, who is renowned for
readying his charges on debut. Keep safe
5. DOURO VALLEY – Manduro newcomer to be ridden by Jérôme Claudic for trainer Romain Le
Dren Doleuze
6. MARIE GALANTE – Ribchester debutante trained by Yann Barberot and to be ridden by Dorian
Provost, who takes 3,5kg off. Noted
7. SNOWFINCH – Godolphin’s Dubawi filly who is a half-sister to former champion Earthlight.
Makes plenty appeal on paper
8. GRAND AMOUR – Apprentice Sophie Chuette takes 2,5kg off the back of this Mikel Delzanglestrained filly by New Bay
9. DIFFERENT LIGHT – Galileo debutante who holds Classic entries. Hails from the formidable
Andre Fabre stable and is out of a proven producer
10. KISS ME DU BOURG – A daughter of Penny’s Picnic whose progeny tend to be precocious.
Has been the subject of a few whispers
Summary : As a sister of former champion Earthlight, SNOWFINCH (7) is likely to be all the rage
in this newcomers’ race and it could pay to follow Godolphin’s Dubawi filly from the outset. Galileo
debutante DIFFERENT LIGHT (9) is highly thought of and holds Classic-race entries later this
season, so it wouldn’t come as a surprise were she to play a leading role. WINNING SIDE (4) and
RUNNING THE GAME (2) are out of well-performed mares and could also run forward races on
debut. Stablemates RUNNING THE GAME (2) and BAHAYRA (3) complete the shortlist.

R2 – PRIX DE LA SOCIETE DES COURSES DE MAMERS – 1950m (a1 3/16m) – TURF – Handicap – Flat – EUR € 20.000
1. BETWEEN – Has bounced back to form in claiming races recently and should give this a good
go too. One to beat
2. PETRA STAR – Finished 2nd on handicap debut in her comeback outing and is capable of better
than the 5th she achieved last time. Dark horse
3. HERMANO – Consistent for the most part and seldom finishes far off the mark. Has more of a
place chance than a winning one
4. TWO FIFTY TWO – Showed early promise but has regressed since. Finished 9th on handicap
debut last time but has scope to improve
5. LORCAN – Unreliable but remains capable of having a say in a race like this. Blinkers on now
6. LIDISBARN – Consistent performer who is fit and in good form. Will be competitive and should
have a role to play
7. TRESCALCETINES – Improved to win at a lower level last time. Could confirm that improvement
but unlikely to repeat the feat here
8. APASH – Has improved with each run this year and will be ridden by Maxime Guyon for the first
time after finishing 2nd in her last start. Respect
9. KASTIN DES SOURCES – Has looked distinctly ordinary for some time so chances limited even
at this level
Summary : BETWEEN (1) backed up her win two starts back with a good 4th last time out and, on
the strength of that form, has every chance of recapturing the winning thread. LIDISBARN (6) has
shown both his versatility and consistency recently, so ought to pose a threat here. Fitted with
blinkers for the first time, LORCAN (5) could also get into the action. APASH (8), the booking of
Maxime Guyonm, is capable of playing a role too.
SELECTIONS
BETWEEN (1) – LIDISBARN (6) – LORCAN (5) – APASH (8)
R3 – PRIX DE LA SOCIETE DES COURSES D’ECOMMOY – 1400m (a7f) – TURF – Condition Race – Class 3 – Flat – EUR € 16.000
1. MARKSWOMAN – Showed early promise but has been inconsistent in recent outings. Another
capable of better
2. SWEET FORTUNE – Consistent in her early days as a two-year-old in the UK but has lost her
form in 4 starts on the PSF since September. One to note on her French bow
3. EXPERTISE – Won easily on debut at Senonnes and is open to any amount of improvement.
Can get involved
4. MR DREAMER – Has lost his form and dropped in the weights as a result. Will fare better sooner
rather than later
5. NEVERSAY – Absent for almost 10 months but did show above-average ability last year, so
could well make a winning reappearance
6. ROSE FRAGRANCE – Has the advantage of recent race fitness on her side and should be
competitive as a result. One for the shortlist
7. BET ME – Winner at Goodwood on debut but has not been seen since running there in August.
Dark horse in her first outing on French soil
8. RECORDING ANGEL – Not seen since August but has shown sufficient quality to be competitive
on her reappearance. Keep safe
Summary : NEVERSAY (5) has been absent since July but has a good opportunity here to make
a winning comeback. ROSE FRAGRANCE (6) has had the advantage of having raced twice
already this year so is likely to fight for victory. RECORDING ANGEL (8) makes a belated
reappearance following a long absence but did show promise last year and, as such, must be
respected on her return. EXPERTISE (3) won easily on debut and is open to any amount of
improvement, so best kept safe.

level

judge. Can be ruled out
3. DANDY COOL – Another who reassured with an improved last start and in similar form ought to
be competitive. Dark horse

seem a little too short. One to beat
5. INDIANA CAEL – Has been struggling for some time now and is unlikely to trouble the judge
6. BLACK PANTHER – Has looked distinctly ordinary for some time now, so chances limited even
at this level
7. FELI CHOP – Reassured with an improved last start and in similar form should be competitive.
Shortlisted
8. GEORGINELA – Unreliable sort but is quite capable of staking a claim in a race like this. Has a
role to play here
9. IZAKAYA – Consistent performer in this class and suited to speed courses. Will be dangerous if
allowed to dictate
10. KANTIO – Unreliable sort but capable of playing a minor role in a race of this nature. Place
chance
11. MOCKLERSHILL – Veteran with good recent form credentials. Could have a role to play here
on curernt form
12. MEHANYDREAM – Inconsistent sort, regularly an ‘all-or-nothing’ type. Hard to trust but as hard
to rule out
Summary : TOP GLORY (4) has a decent record at this track and lines up here in good form, so
makes most appeal. He should play a leading role, even though this trip is a touch on the sharp
side for him. FELI CHOP (7) caught the eye in his last start and will be competitive if confirming
that improvement. GEORGINELA (8) is proven in this category and capable of contesting the finish
on her best form. Speedy IZAKAYA (9) is consistent and another with a chance of getting into the
picture. DANDY COOL (3) completes the shortlist.

more to do to have a decent chance

last two runs to have a strong chance

could be worth considering for minor money
4. PREDETERMINED – Comes from the Bertin yard, last three runs were unplaced and happy to
avoid here
5. ART COLLECTION – Finished 7th at Saint-cloud last time and can build on that. Has a very
competitive chance
6. PLANTHALYA – Maxime Guyon rode her last time and retains the ride which is a positive and
has a bright winning chance
7. STRANGER – Is a 5 time winner and has a bright chance based on his good penultimate 3rd at
Senonnes
8. KAABA STONE – Caught the eye in her penultimate when running at Senonnes on the 24th
March taking home the 2nd cheque. Bright chance
9. PRETTYCHARLY – Long time maiden but ran well at San Sebastian last time and back locally,
should be very effective
10. STRATOSPHERIQUE – Needs to build on recent last few efforts to feature and is hard to fancy
11. PRINCE DES DUNES – Finished 3rd at Chantilly recently over 1500m in a handicap and should
make his presence felt. Next win is near
12. JAVEA – Finished 5th over 1400m at Mont-De-Marsan in April and has a quartet chance despite
being an outsider
13. RED THE WEST – Has a rating of 20, has been unplaced in his last 7 starts which is a concern
but could build on that
Summary : PLANTHALYA (6) ran an attractive race last time when finishing 3rd over 1300m in a
Handicap at Saint-Cloud on the 14th of April. She was ridden b y Maxime Guyon that day and it is
encouraging to see him retain the ride. ART COLLECTION (5) is Jerome Claudic’s ride again. They
were 7th at Saint-Cloud last time and can build on that effort. Has a competitive chance. PRINCE
DES DUNES (11) is a dual winner and showed last time when 3rd over 1500m at Chantilly that his
next win is near. PRETTYCHARLY (9) is a long time maiden but ran very well at San Sebastian on
the 19th April and back in France, can go close.

R6 – PRIX DE LA SOCIETE DES COURSES DE SABLE-SUR-SARTHE – 2300m (a1 7/16m) – TURF – Condition Race Qualifier – Class 4 – Flat – EUR € 14.000
1. LUNATICOS – Brings a rating of 30 into the race and posted a fair 5th on the 4th of April at
Fontainebleau .Gets the services of rider Roussel and should go well
2. INCA MAN – Been knocking loudly at the door in his last two and could prove a hard horse to
beat
3. RUE JONAS – Her overall form is consistent, knows how to win and brings a rating of 29,5 into
the race. Big runner
4. ALF A STAR – Won well over 2400m at Lion D’Angers on the 31st March and could follow up
but others are preferred
5. LIBERTE CHERIE – Has raced 9 times for 1 win and 4 places. Was a winner in her penultimate
over 2400m and despite being an outsider could place
6. IKARE – Is lightly raced and clearly has ability. Her last run when 2nd at Durtal was encouraging
and is one for the shortlist
7. LA YOMOGUINESS – Has a good chance and should again be very competitive. She has been
in Listed company before and goes the trip
8. ANGELO DREAM – Rated at 29, is a 12 x winner and his recent efforts have been good enough
to give him a serious chance
9. SOLE SOLO – Has had only 5 runs but they have been a tad erratic and there is a lot more
required to threaten here
10. OLYMPE TEA – Maiden had 13 starts for 8 places. Her penultimate run at Les Sables when
4th was fair enough to warrant a place chance
11. LADY CHARLOTTE – Has placed three times from four starts, last run was good and might be
able to get into the money but is an outsider
12. MELIZABETH – Last 2 runs were unplaced, is lightly raced but still a maiden and is returning
from a rest
Summary : INCA MAN’S (2) last two runs were bright when finishing second in both. His most
recent effort was at Evreux and he could be a hard horse to oppose. RUE JONAS (3) has consistent
form and she certainly knows how to win. Her rating of 29,5 is attractive and she should give the
first choice plenty cheek all the way home. IKARE (6) is lightly raced, has plenty scope and her last
run when finishing 2nd at Durtal on the 15th of April was promising. She has a strong chance. LA
YOMOGUINESS (7) ran 3rd at Durtal over 2300m in mid April and stays well. She has been in
Listed company before and must be considered.
