Race Preview
R1 – PRIX SAUMON – 2000m (a1 1/4m) – TURF – Condition Race – Class 2 – Flat – EUR € 22.000
1. ALASHAR – Showed good improvement on the PSF. Has also won on the turf and is clearly the
one to beat in this line-up
2. WIDA – Showed promise on debut when runner-up at Chantilly over this distance. Can go one
better this time
3. MONONOF – A bit of a disappointment in his last two starts and his only win was on the PSF but
does have a winning chance in this line-up
4. BRAZIL – Has yet to win after ten attempts so far and is coming off two moderate turf efforts.
Better on the on the PSF and others are preferred
5. MOVING COLOURS – Mostly moderate form in the UK but showed nice improvement when
winning on French debut. Can follow up
Summary : ALASHAR (1) is on the up and can be best in this small field and follow up on a recent
PSF win. MONONOF (3) is probably at best on the PSF but could still prove to be a treat in this
field. WIDA (2) could be anything after a promising debut and would not be a surprise winner.
MOVING COLOURS (5) won on French debut and could have a lot more on offer so cannot be
dismissed away lightly.

R2 – PRIX D’AIX-MARLIOZ – 1600m (a1m) – TURF – Condition Race – Class 3 – Flat – EUR € 15.000
1. LEV – Struggled off his mark in a handicap in his penultimate start but did a lot better last time
out when third in this division. Has a winning chance
2. WALKING PAINTING – Well beaten in a handicap last time out but is distance suited and does
have a winning chance in this line-up
3. LOKMAN – Good last win when returning to the flat and should have more to offer. Deserves the
utmost respect
4. SOLID SPIRIT – Probably needed the run when well beaten in a handicap. Likely to need this
run as well and others are preferred
5. COUR DU ROI – Has struggled in four handicaps this year but could prefer this longer distance
and is capable of an upset on best form
6. IVORY SPRING – Solid handicap win last time out and he could be even better over this distance.
Be right there at the finish
7. CASH RULER – A four-year-old colt by Cat Junior out of Walimex who is making his debut. Could
need the experience
Summary : Another open looking race on the day even though only seven go to the post. LEV (1)
did enough when third last time out to suggest a win could be coming soon. COUR DU ROI (5) has
not been at his best of late but could prove a danger in this line-up. LOKMAN (3) is on the up and
has an obvious winning chance. IVORY SPRING (6) could be even better this distance after a nice
last win.

R3 – PRIX DE BELLERIVE – 1600m (a1m) – TURF – Handicap – Class 4 – Flat – EUR € 14.000
1. SPEED CHOP – Bounced back to winning form over this distance last time out. Has struggled in
handicaps but cannot be dismissed away entirely
2. SAGE DREAM – Disappointing three runs this year but did win a handicap last year off a slightly
higher mark- Capable of an upset
3. SIGLO DE ORO – Unreliable and has been kept to the PSF for most of recent runs. Better that
surface but could play a minor role
4. RED NUDE ROUGE – Mostly disappointing runs since only win. Off a mark that should see her
competitive and she can cause an upset
5. WHEEL OF CHANCE – Battling to regain his best form but was fourth in a handicap in
penultimate start and has a place chance
6. SHANNA ROSE – Holding her form well of late and her only win was over this distance. Has a
winning chance in this line-up
7. TURTLE CHOPE – Has struggled in handicaps since her last win in November 2022 which was
at this course. Did better when third in a conditions race last time out. Place chance
8. SAINT FIACRE – Returned from a break for a nice handicap win on the PSF. Did not repeat it
on the turf but he can bounce back to win if in the mood
9. KARANKAWA – Has been struggling in handicaps for some time now and her best recent run
was in a claimer when fourth. Others are preferred
10. POLDINA – Has lost his way since last win in August 2022 and recent runs were moderate.
Needs to do more to win this race
11. TO BE QUEEN – Good last run over this distance on the turf last time out. Usually gives of her
best and could finish in the money
12. STAR LUCE – Has yet to win a race but was runner-up off a similar mark last time out in a
handicap and can go one better. Respect
13. MAKHZEN – On a very long losing streak but is in good form off current mark and was runnerup last time out. Has a winning chance
Summary : A low-grade handicap and any type of a result is likely. RED NUDE ROUGE (4) has
been a disappointment of late but could bounce back to win a race like this at a good likely price.
STAR LUCE (12) has yet to win a race but could do so against this moderate bunch. SAINT
FIACRE (8) won nicely on the PSF last time out and could follow up. MAKHZEN (13) is in good
form and is not out of it.

R4 – PRIX DU LEMAN – 2000m (a1 1/4m) – TURF – Handicap – Class 4 – Flat – EUR € 14.000
1. RISKY JANE – Non partante
2. KARRY BRADSHAW – Struggled on the turf last time out when only tenth. Better on the PSF
and is probably best watched this time
3. TRIPTAJIKA – Found his best form with a nice win over 2400m last time out. Unreliable but
could follow up if in the same mood
4. PRINCE ELZY – Moderate form in three runs last year including when sixth in a claimer last time
out. Likely to need this comeback run
5. HIGHEST MOUNTAIN – Not disgraced when fifth last time out. Better on the PSF but clearly has
a winning chance in this line-up
6. ANDISHEH – Has yet to win after 23 starts and has struggled in both handicaps runs this year.
Best watched for now
7. STAR DRACK – Disappointing last run when ninth. Prefers this distance and will do a lot better
and is not out of it
8. MY BUDDY – Seems to have been anchored by the penalty for last win and struggled on the turf
last time out. Others are preferred
9. CALAS QUEEN – In good form of late but has been kept to the PSF in last eight starts and
probably prefers that surface. Place chance
10. PEDRO DEL RIO – Fair form of late and he has run well over this course and distance before.
Could finish in the money once again
11. JECTOT – Has yet to win after 26 attempts and recent runs were moderate. Needs to find a
few lengths to win this race
12. DARENIX – Has yet to win a race but he is competitive off this low mark and ran better than his
eighth-place finish last time out over this course and distance. Has a winning chance
13. MONSIEUR EMILE – Has really struggled in his last two handicaps and has yet to taste winning
success after 42 starts. Others are much preferred
Summary : DARENIX (12) is in good form off this mark and could get a win that has been eluding
him. RISKY JANE (1) ran well off this mark last time out and has a winning chance. HIGHEST
MOUNTAIN (5) is better on the PSF but would not be a surprise winner. STAR DRACK (7) prefers
this distance and even further and will do better than the last run so include in all bets.
