Summary : A two-year-old colts and geldings race that has some nicely bred juveniles. The Andre
Fabre-trained ALCANTOR (4) a son of NEW BAY could be the one to side with, he will be expected
to make a good start to his career. HAVANA CIGAR (7) from the powerful Rouget yard will also be
nicely prepared and could make a statement on debut. PALAZZO (5) is out of a Group 3 winner
and should be worth a look in the exchanges. GOLD INDEX (2) is out of a good mare who won five
races, so is worth consideration.

Summary : A very small field of unraced three-year-olds line up over 2400m which suggests the
need for stamina could be key. SHERADANN (1) trained by Francis Graffard looks good on paper,
his dam was very useful, winning at Group 3 level. He is the selection. GOLIATH (2) has plenty of
stamina in his pedigree and should stay every yard of this distance, he can give the likely favourite
something to think about. DANSE S Y (3) has the assistance of Christophe Soumillon and can play
a role. ROATAN (4) needs to be watched in the betting market.

Summary : Some really well-bred fillies making their racecourse debuts. The Andre Fabre trained
BELLBIRD (9) owned by Godolphin is out of a Group 1 winner, with plenty of stamina in her
pedigree she can win this. EVOLVING (8) could be the one to chase home the Fabre filly.
ZARWARA (1) can have a say in the proceedings, as her mother was a useful performer who won
at Listed level. QUEEN ZARA (4) needs to be given plenty of respect on her opening race.

1. JACK THE LAD – Has a few unplaced runs, a nice 2nd over 2200m in October. Not to be
overlooked
2. COASTER – Has had several unplaced efforts over various trips of late. Looks out of form and
best watched
3. AK ISHAN – A fair 3rd three runs back over 2400m at Saint-Cloud on March 28th. Can place
4. DAY OFF – Will get plenty of help from his rider Maxime Guyon and looks the one to beat after
a nice 4th at Compiegne on April 17th. Live chance
5. MARALINKO – A winner two runs back over 2500m at Deauville in February in a Class 3 race.
Ought to play a role
6. LADY LOU – Nice run at Parislongchamp on the latest run when 4th over 2150m in April. Bold
run likely
7. SOGYNT – Was a fair 3rd four runs back over 3200m, that was in January. Needs to get back
on track
8. WINGS OF FIRE – Has a few unplaced runs, and was 4th at Chantilly in November over 2700m.
Can be involved
9. JUPITER LE DUN – A winner two runs back at Nancy of a Class 4 race on March 26th. Others
preferred
10. QUEEN BAY – Out of the frame on the last two runs. A fair 2nd at Lyon La Soie over 2400m in
December. More needed to get involved
11. LOUNA CHOPE – A fair 3rd at Fontainebleau over 3000m in a claimer on May 10th. Ought to
be thereabouts
12. ALERIC – Won at Nantes over 2400m on May 6th in a Class 4 race. Looks a nice each-way
option
13. FEELIN LUCKY – Unplaced on the last two runs. A nice 4th over 2400m at Toulouse on March
21st. Player
14. MILES – A fair 4th two runs back over 2100m at Chantilly in March. Others appeal more
15. STORMY FLOO – Has been out of the frame on the last two runs. A winner in October over
2850m. Needs a personal best to be involved

Summary : With Maxime Guyon in the saddle DAY OFF (4) could get back in the winner’s
enclosure in an open-looking handicap. LADY LOU (6) will try to make life difficult for her rivals and
was a good fourth at Parislongchamp over 2150m on April 30th. FEELIN LUCKY (13) looks a must
for the each-way backers if running to the form shown at Toulouse when fourth at that track on
March 6th. ALERIC (12) was a nice winner at Nantes earlier this month and can once again be
involved at the business end.

get back to form
2. PRINCESS GREY – A nice winner two runs back at Montlucon on May 7th. Can have a say in
the proceedings
3. SKIRTOWE – 4th three runs back at Deauville over 2500m in January. Others look more
persuasive
4. MISTER DREAM – Has not figured on the last three runs. A 3rd at Machecoul on March 12th
over 2950m was a fair run. Place chance
5. CIVNYAN – A winner two runs back at this venue over 2400m on March 28th. Each way must
6. TENNESSEE JOHN – Has been out of form with several unplaced efforts. Hard to see him
involved
7. ANIMA LIBERA – A nice run when 3rd at this venue over 2100m on May 12th. Can place at
likely nice odds
8. ESTOKENIA – Ran a nice race when 3rd at this venue over 2100m on May 12th. Looks ready
to win
9. FALWUKAIR LAUJAC – A fair 4th narrowly behind ESTOKENIA (8) over 2100m when they met
at this track earlier this month. Player
10. TOPFINE – Has dropped markedly in the ratings after several unplaced efforts. With leeway
from the handicapper, can not be passed over
11. ESPOIR LONGUEEN – Has been 2nd on the last two runs the latter over 2500m on April 22nd.
Sure to be on the premises
12. BOARDING TIME – Has shown very little form for some time over different distances. Can be
avoided
13. PAROVNA – A fair 4th on the last run over 3100m on May 7th. Needs a bit more to feature
14. DREAM AGAIN – Has numerous unplaced runs over several different trips of late. Best watched
for the time being
15. EL WADI – Has been out of form for some time over different distances. Not of interest on
current efforts

Summary : A nice run when third at this track on May 12th by ESTOKENIA (8) when finishing
narrowly ahead of her likely main danger FALWUKAIR LAUJAC (9) who was back in fourth that
day, with Christophe Soumillon keen to ride him again, it may well be a race between the pair.
CIVNYAN (5) is a winner at the track and is an each-way must. ESPOIR LONGUEEN (11) has
been threatening to win after two recent seconds and can be involved once again. ANIMA LIBERA
(7) has good course form and should run another good race.
