Kranji’s second-highest rated four-year-old STREET OF DREAMS has been ruled out of the forthcoming Four-Year-Old Challenge due to injury.

Trainer Steven Burridge stated the Joe Giovanni-owned gelding pulled up sore after the G1 Kranji Mile and after multiple checks done by the vets, he was found to have a slight injury to his off-fore suspensory ligament, which would require two to three months on the side-lines. The stewards’ report also noted that he had respiratory distress post-race.

With the scratching of STREET OF DREAMS from the Four-Year-Old Challenge, it paves the way for Kranji’s highest-rated four-year-old SUPER SALUTE (96) to be ultra-competitive at level weights against his own age group, as well as GOLDEN MONKEY (90). SILENT IS GOLD heads the rest on a rating of 84, while it tapers off there with Polytrack specialist GENERAL COMMAND next-best on 81 points.
