R1 – PRIX CAFE DE LA PLACE LONDINIERES (PRIX DE LA PLAGE) – 1100m (a5 1/2f) – TURF – Claiming – Flat – EUR € 19.000

1. MUCHAS GRACIAS – Unplaced in both outings and unlikely to trouble the judge here either.
Hard to make a case for
2. GOGOGADGET – Beat several of these opponents on debut Saint-Cloud and has a good chance
of opening his account
3. BAWE ISLAND – Has the form and experience to be competitive in this grade/company. Will
have a role to play here
4. ELUGO – Finished 3rd at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat last time and has run her best races in this
category. Keep safe
5. SKIMBLESHANKS – Showed signs of improvement after a modest debut by finishing 5th last
time. Could improve further
6. GOFAS – Has solid form references behind a subsequent winner and will play a leading role
after an improved 3rd last time
7. ENMARIE FAL – Made no impression on debut and was unplaced again last time. Has shown
little to warrant any consideration

Summary : In this opening event with few starters, a slight preference is for GOGOGADGET (2)
who has a good record at this level and who shone over this distance at Fontainebleau recently.
GOFAS (6) improved to finish 3rd last time and could pose a threat if confirming that improvement.
BAWE ISLAND (3) and ELUGO (4) have both the form and experience to also stake a claim.

SELECTIONS
GOGOGADGET (2) – GOFAS (6) – BAWE ISLAND (3) – ELUGO (4)

1. DARIYM – Won his first outing over 1000m at ParisLongchamp by eight lengths. Capable of
following up here
2. FRENCH DEFENSE – Runner-up in each of his last three starts, including at Fontainebleau last
time when finishing ahead of a subsequent winner. Respect

Listed winner. Chance
4. ASHWARI – Has shown nothing in both starts to warrant any consideration, so can be ruled out.
Others preferred

Needs to reaffirm
6. MAAYAFUSHI – Won a handicap race before finishing unplaced in a Quinte+ but was a
reassuring 4th at Chantilly last time. Has claims

Summary : Only three with winning chances here. DARIYM (1) left a good impression when
winning over this distance last time and gets the nod ahead of PUREST TIME (3 and FRENCH
DEFENSE (2) who boast solid form references and have finished 2nd in each of their last three
starts. Filly MAAYAFUSHI (6) has good form in handicap races and can make her presence felt
too.

SELECTIONS
DARIYM (1) – PUREST TIME (3) – FRENCH DEFENSE (2) – MAAYAFUSHI (6)

8. AMOUAGE – Olympic Glory colt to be ridden on debut by Davide Cirocca for the Caceres stable.
One to note
9. BAILEYS POLKA DOT – Amy Murphy-trained Inns Of Court debutante to be ridden by Tony
Piccone. Not one to take lightly

Summary : After finishing 2nd in both outings at Chantilly, PARADISIACAL (3) has a great
opportunity to open her account here. She will, however, need to improve to thwart YOLLILAL (7)
who also finished 2nd on debut at ParisLongchamp. I WANNA BE LIKEYOU (1) was an
encouraging 3rd on his introduction, despite a slow start, and ought to be competitive, along with
debut winner THE CAT’S (2) who has changed hands after his victory in a claiming race.

SELECTIONS
PARADISIACAL (3) – YOLLILAL (7) – I WANNA BE LIKEYOU (1) – THE CAT’S (2)

R4 – PRIX POSIDONIE – 3000m (a1 7/8m) – TURF – Condition Race – Maiden – Flat – EUR € 27.000

1. DJERBANNI – Consistent since Day 1, boasts solid form references and will be suited by this
step up in distance. One to beat

here. Keep safe

picture. Place chance

here. Has earning potential

judge here
6. QUEEN’S BOY – Promising colt with strong form credentials, having finished 2nd last month
behind Astaire who has since finished 2nd in a Class 2
7. SALISBURRY – Well-bred Golden Horn newcomer who makes plenty appeal on paper. Jordan
Delaunay rides for Jean-Philippe Dubois
8. SAGILOU ROSETGRI – Luigi Maceli-trained Saintgodrel newcomer to be ridden on debut by
Tony Piccone. Watch for now

Summary : DJERBANNI (1) has held his own in good company and deserves to get his head in
front after finishing 3rd in each of his three outings this year. Both QUEEN’S BOY (6), who has the
benefit of track experience, and MELLAH (2) have the form credentials to fight for victory.
Newcomer SALISBURRY (7) and likely improver KING PEDRO (3) complete the shortlist.

SELECTIONS
DJERBANNI (1) – QUEEN’S BOY (6) – MELLAH (2) – SALISBURRY (7)

R5 – PRIX DU SABOT DE VENUS – 3000m (a1 7/8m) – TURF – Claiming – Class 3 – Flat – EUR € 19.000

1. ROYALOR – Has run two pleasing comeback races this year and is capable of getting a look in
here. Dark horse
2. BLUE SWAN – Favourbaly treated by these conditions and is hard to oppose back on the flat.
The one to be with
3. AUENWOLF – Consistent and very efficient in this category. Will have a role to play if ass
effective over this distance
4. SUMMER WAY – Julien Jouin-trained four-year-old Bathyrhon debutante to be ridden by Arthur
Mossé. One to note
5. QUICK FLASH – Has not gone unnoticed in two outings this year and can get into the picture
with the aid of his rider’s 2,5kg allowance. Place chance
6. PIRIAC – Versatile over obstacles and in good form recently, winning over hurdles. Should have
a say here
7. BOSQUENTIN – Holding form, is in good shape and seldom finishes far off the mark. Could get
into the picture
8. HAEVA D’OR – Non partant

Summary : BLUE SWAN (2) failed to live up to expectations over hurdles but is well placed to
make amends back on the flat, as she has a margin over her rivals on these terms (weights/ratings).
If as effective over this distance, consistent AUENWOLF (3) is the most to pose a threat. PIRIAC
(6), after two pleasing comeback outings, and last-start winner over hurdles QUICK FLASH (5)
could also stake a claim.

SELECTIONS
BLUE SWAN (2) – AUENWOLF (3) – PIRIAC (6) – QUICK FLASH (5)

R6 – PRIX CHEZ TONIO TORCY LE GRAND (PRIX DE LA FOSSE DES MARIANNES) – 3000m (a1 7/8m) – TURF – Condition Race – Maiden – Flat – EUR € 27.000

1. MARINDJA – Showed signs of improvement by finishing 4th last time and is likely to make further
progress. Lurker
2. L’AUTORITE – Runner-up on debut and finished 5th last time but should have more to offer
under Cristian Demuro
3. SHANADA – Hinted at ability when finishing 4th on debut but failed to confirm that promise when

role to play here
5. KINGS DIAMOND – Closely matched with MAZOURKA (4) on the form of their debut meeting.
Should have more to offer

make more appeal
7. TROPEIRA – Showed signs of improvement last time and likely to make further progress stepping
up in distance
8. AIGRETTE – Closely matched with the selection ESPERANCE (10) on the form of their May 19
meeting at Chantilly. Respected
9. HEGRINA – Seldom far off the mark and could get into the picture here but needs to improve to
play a role here
10. ESPERANCE – Has improved with each outing and will this time benefit from her rider’s 2,5kg
allowance. Winning chance
11. SEA MADAM – Louis Baudron-trained Masterstroke debutante to be ridden on debut by
Mathieu Pelletan. Just watch
12. COVENT GARDEN – Galiway debutante to be ridden by Arthur Mossé for Julien Jouin. Just
watch now, for another day

Summary : The formline of May 19 at Chantilly could prove the answer here, with ESPERANCE
(10) and AIGRETTE (8) taken to fight out the finish in this modest maiden, though preference is for
the former given her rider’s 2,5kg allowance. Associated with Cristian Demuro for this event,
L’AUTORITE (2) is likely to have a say in the finish too. Both MAZOURKA (4) and KINGS
DIAMOND (5) are likely to improve after pleasing introductions and can get into the picture.

SELECTIONS
ESPERANCE (10) – AIGRETTE (8) – L’AUTORITE (2) – MAZOURKA (4)

R7 – PRIX LE LONGCHAMP LONGUEVILLE SUR SCIE (PRIX UDUMBARA) – 1000m (a5f) – TURF – Divised Handicap – Class 2 – Flat – EUR € 32.000

1. LESSLEPASSER – Confirmed recent improvement by finishing 3rd at ParisLongchamp last time.
Can play a leading role
2. GAMGOOM – Consistent performer in this class, in good form of late and capable of having a
say under top weight
3. BACCHILIDE – Returned to form last time when finishing 4th in a reference race at
ParisLongchamp. Has claims
4. AL ULA – Undeniably capable but has gone off the boil recently after winning three starts back.
Dark horse
5. SAPIENS – Has struggled to regain any form or consistency for some time now and unlikely to
trouble the judge
6. SEASCAPE GIRL – Reassuring 2nd in her last start and should be competitive here if confirming
that improvement
7. TRUE ROMANCE – Has looked distinctly ordinary for some time now, so his chances are limited
even at this level
8. KOUTSOUNAKOS – Last-start winner who has won two of his last three starts and should remain
competitive despite his penalty
9. ISMAEL PAINT – Seldom far off the mark but could get a look in here if judged on what he has
done best. Outsider
10. GLORY OF ROME – Rewarded for consistency by winning a Quinté+ event, and has won over
this distance. Can follow up
11. WINNAN – Has been struggling for form and consistency for some time now, so is unlikely to
trouble the judge
12. LAUNCESTON PLACE – Has nothing noteworthy to his name to warrant consideration here
and can be ruled out. Overlook
13. HOLLY STORY – Unreliable sort but is quite capable of staking a claim in a race of this nature.
Has only a place chance

Summary : GLORY OF ROME (10) won a Quinté+ event with confidence and seems good enough
to defy a 3kg penalty by following up. From the reference event of May 29 at ParisLongchamp,
KOUTSOUNAKOS (8), who is up 2kg for that victory, in-form LESSLEPASSER (1) and even
BACCHILIDE (3), who returned to form when finishing 4th last time, could pose a threat to the
selection.

SELECTIONS
GLORY OF ROME (10) – KOUTSOUNAKOS (8) – LESSLEPASSER (1) – BACCHILIDE (3)
