Race Preview

R9 – PRIX DANIELLE GODDE – 1350m (a7f) – TURF – Condition Race – Maiden – Flat – EUR € 12.500

1. GRAND GIOMAR KODI – Can put his experience to good use, with a good 4th two runs back
over 1000m in mid-April. Bold show likely
2. CHUNKA WAKAN – Showed a nice bit of talent when 6th over 1100m on the only run so far on
June 5th. Player
3. FASNY – The form seems to have regressed, 5th over 1400m on the last run on June 12th.
Others make more appeal
4. LADYSHOW – Unplaced on only run so far in March over 1100m. Will have learned from the
debut and should be more at home over this extra distance
5. LORD BERE – Newcomer by Taj Mahal, the dam won five races. From a good yard who will
have him well-tuned. Ought to have a say
6. AFRIQUE ADIEU – Newcomer by City Light, the dam was a four-time winner. Market support
should be noted on debut

Summary : CHUNKA WAKAN (2) showed enough on his debut over an inadequate trip to
warrant a much more improved performance today over this extra 250m. He can win at nice
odds. GRAND GIOMAR KODI (1) could make life difficult, he has experience having had three
runs, and should have a say in proceedings. LORD BERE (5) can give a good account on his
debut from a good stable. LADYSHOW (4) has been given some time since her debut run in
March, she can improve on that and warrants respect.

SELECTIONS
CHUNKA WAKAN (2) – GRAND GIOMAR KODI (1) – LORD BERE (5) – LADYSHOW (4)

of late
2. CUREJ – 4th over 1300m at Argentan on the last run on June 7th. Makes limited appeal
3. DIVINE CHRISNAT – Credible 4th over 1650m on the last run at Amiens on June 12th. Needs
more to win
4. SELECTION BIAS – Fair 4th two runs back over 1700m in late April. Has work to do to make
the frame
5. GAUDENZIA – 5th over 1100m on the last run at Dieppe on May 31st. Should like the step up
in distance
6. ALLEE FORTUNEE – Good 2nd over 1700m at Granville when last seen on May 28th. Can be
the one to beat
7. UP TO THE MOON – Unplaced on the last run over 1300m at Argentan on June 7th. Others
make more sense
8. HEY CHARLIE – 5th at Granville on the last run over 1700m on May 28th when ALLEE

9. SUNY – Fair 6th over 1400m at Moulins on the last outing on May 27th. Among the top
chances
10. SUNY YINA – Bit below par last time, but a good 5th on debut over 1400m in mid-March at
Fontainebleau. Can not be discounted
11. STORYWOOD – Has shown a bit of ability on two runs so far, the latter over 1600m at
Compiegne on June 9th. Ought to get involved

Summary : With plenty of these runners out of form, the best option is ALLEE FORTUNEE (6)
who was a good second over 1700m in late May and looks like the safe option to go with. HEY
CHARLIE (8) was fifth in the same race as ALLEE FORTUNEE (6) when they last met, she has
to improve to turn that form around but can give a good account of herself. SUNY (9) has shown
enough to give her a chance of making the frame in a race that will not take much winning. SUNY
YINA (10) could fare best of the remainder.

SELECTIONS
ALLEE FORTUNEE (6) – HEY CHARLIE (8) – SUNY (9) – SUNY YINA (10)

any market support should be noted

expected on debut

Summary : VARIYNI (1) showed a much-improved performance when third on his latest run over
1950m at Chateaubriant on June 5th, he can progress again from that and looks like the one to
beat. He should like the step up in trip. TALK SHOW (11) has a nice profile and hails from a very
good stable, he will be expected to give a good account of himself on debut. KOPECK DE MEE
(2) did plenty right on his only run when second in mid-May, he can not be overlooked. GOT
LAND (3) showed something on debut and could make the frame with a good bit of progression.

SELECTIONS
VARIYNI (1) – TALK SHOW (11) – KOPECK DE MEE (2) – GOT LAND (3)

than capable of winning

time, but can figure

performance
13. DIVA DE JUILLEY – Newcomer by Tiger Groom, the dam was placed. Stable is not known for
first-time out winners. The betting market should be monitored

Summary : RUE DE L’AUDE (2) could get off the mark in what looks like a weak maiden race,
she was not beaten far when last racing at Angers on May 11th. MUSIC DAY (5) could have a
major say in the finish and was a good second at Orleans in late May. She poses the main threat.
STRIVER (6) is one for the each-way backers to take seriously after a nice second when last
racing at Durtal in April. VILLA MELANA (3) needs to be watched in the betting, she was below
par last time but ran well on debut and can make the frame.

SELECTIONS
RUE DE L’AUDE (2) – MUSIC DAY (5) – STRIVER (6) – VILLA MELANA (3)

discounted

Consider

Summary : TESTIPEDRO (14) has been performing well recently, with a good second at
Parislongchamp over 2800m 14 days ago. He is due another win. Recent winner GRAZANO (2)
could well give the selection the most to do after that confidence booster last time. MAESTRO
CHOP (9) was fifth when GRAZANO (2) won, and was not beaten very far that day. He looks the
best each-way option. KAMSSIO (1) did show some old form two starts ago when fourth over

welcome return to form last time when winning a Handicap at Chantilly over 2100m. He is a huge
runner. VICTORY CAT (17) is holding her form and can certainly trouble the judges again and
