to play. Place chance
2. AKINOOS – Boasts solid form references, including a 2nd at this course recently. Will make his
presence felt
3. GRAND COURGEON – Was a reassuring 2nd in his last start and should be competitive here if
confirming that improvement
4. GOLDEN CITY – Pleasing 5th on debut last year at ParisLongchamp and was an encouraging
3rd on his reappearance last month. Include
5. STORM DAY – Finished a modest 8th on debut and will need to take a big step forward to play
a role here
6. GREEN PERFUME – Showed signs of improvement last time but will need to confirm that form
to get a look in here. Outsider
7. AMALFINA – Has been runner-up in both of her starts and ought to be winning sooner rather
than later. One to beat

improvement expected. Shortlist
9. TXINTXUA DU BARDET – Endside debutante to be ridden by William Smit for owner and trainer
Guy Bouchonnet. Watch for now

better here. Both SALT FLAKE (8) and GOLDEN CITY (4) are improving and likely to pose a threat
with further progress expected. AKINOOS (2) has the form and experience to also join the fight for
victory.

SELECTIONS
AMALFINA (7) – SALT FLAKE (8) – GOLDEN CITY (4) – AKINOOS (2)

winning one

Has claims

Summary : This Listed race is likely to be fought out between GALLERIST (1), who has progressed
at a rate of knots to win his last three starts, and the consistent filly PERAMA (5) who was a winner
over this distance last time. MONONOF (2) is capable of staking a claim too after bouncing back

so others are preferred

strip fitter. Could have a say

Summary : AGADOR (3) has won four of his five starts and completed the hat-trick when winning
a Class 2 event over this trip last time, so is a confident first choice. Progressive QAISER (2) has
the means to be competitive at this level and ought to be involved. MEDIA STORM (1) is not without
a chance on his belated reappearance and appeals most of the remainder, ahead of GRAINE DE
PASTEL (5).

SELECTIONS
AGADOR (3) – QAISER (2) – MEDIA STORM (1) – GRAINE DE PASTEL (5)

into the picture
3. SUPER QUARTZ – Proven to be effective over this distance and has the means to pose a threat

4. L’ASTRONOME – Winner of the Group II Prix Hocquart last year and finished an encouraging

watched for now
7. MASALA – Has been struggling for some time now and is unlikely to trouble the judge here.

(4) has an ideal opportunity to return to winning ways here, having won last year’s Prix Hocquart.

selection. CULTURE (2) is seldom far off the mark and could also stake a claim.

picture here. Outsider

Summary : ROI DU MONDE (1) and GREAT PROMISE (2), finished 2nd and 3rd respectively in
a handicap here at this level on 2 June, and are the priority choices in this contest. Improving laststart winner EXUMA (4) is dangerous to dismiss on handicap debut so must be kept safe. SANBER

here. Overlook

last time. Will be a factor
13. ELCOT – Has been struggling for form and consistency for some time now so is unlikely to
trouble the judge
14. TREMONT – Unreliable sort but is quite capable of getting a look in here in a race of this nature.
Outsider

Summary : A wide-open handicap in which it could pay to side with HONG KONG STAR (6), who
should play another leading role having won last time out. SERAPHIM (4), SUPER CUTE (12) and

needed here
