Fairview, 30.06.2023, Race 1, Gallops, 1600m, Turf, R72.000, 12:35GMT+2

Race Summary: Trainer Justin Snaith could have a decent day and it can start off in the very first race as his two carded runners look likely to fight out the finish. HARAJUKA is carded to run on Wednesday at Kenilworth but if appearing in this should prove hard to beat. He is in good form and should have no issues with track and distance. Stable companion RENOWNED is improving and was not disgraced on the Polytrack last time out. REGAZZO GRANDE is improving and can contest the finish once again. BATTENBERG makes his local debut and can improve.

Selections:

#4 Harajuku, #9 Renowned, #8 Regazzo Grande, #13 Almost In Seattle

Fairview, 30.06.2023, Race 2, Gallops, 1200m, Turf, R77.000, 13:10GMT+2

Race Summary: An interesting Juvenile race. Once again Snaith Racing holds a strong hand. FLYING V is improving and won a nice race last week. He is fit and improving and could pull off a hat-trick. Stable companion HLUHLUWE is carded to run on Wednesday but if turning up, can contest the finish. VISION OF WONDER was a bit disappointing on the Polytrack last time out but can bounce back. FAIRY KNIGHT will be better over further but should get involved with the finish. FIRST ORIGIN impressed on debut but fluffed his lines when travelling to the Western Cape. He can bounce back to score. THE WINTER LAKE has ability and is not out of it.

Selections:

#7 Flying V, #5 Hluhluwe, #1 Vision Of Wonder, #3 Fairy Knight

Fairview, 30.06.2023, Race 3, Gallops, 2400m, Turf, R70.000, 13:50GMT+2

Race Summary: Western Cape maiden form has proven superior time and time again and CATCHUSIFYOUCAN can get out of the maiden ranks. He is not a good horse but he could be better than these rivals. PAINITE is improving and trainer Sharon Kotzen has her runners in fine form. JACK RYAN is a moderate animal but has a winning chance in a weak race. SPACE EXPLORER, JOE HARMAN and BALLYCOTTON are all long-time battlers but could finish in the money this time.

Selections:

#6 Catchusifyoucan, #2 Jack Ryan, #4 Joe Harman, #9 Ballycotton

Fairview, 30.06.2023, Race 4, Gallops, 1400m, Turf, R70.000, 14:25GMT+2

Race Summary: HAWK CIRCLE has been disappointing in that he has yet to win but his punters may well forgive him if he wins this race. MOHANDAS has been disappointing of late but could appreciate the return to the turf and can fight out the finish. GREAT ECSTASY has some fair recent form and could finish in the money. OPENING CEREMONY has been a disappointment but could sneak some minor money. BRIDGERTON has done nothing much wrong so far and should be the biggest threat to the Snaith runner. CLOUDED PEARL and DUMISANI are open to improvement on their debuts.

Selections:

#1 Hawk Circle, #9 Bridgerton, #2 Mohandas, #3 Great Ecstasy

Fairview, 30.06.2023, Race 5, Gallops, 1400m, Turf, R100.000, 15:00GMT+2

Race Summary: It has been a long time since SPEED MACHINE won a race but he likes a soft track and might get it right this time. He was a decent third in his latest start. INHERIT THE RAIN is in good form and should contest the finish once again. SAFE RETURN was not disgraced when third last time and should be suited to this track and trip. BUSH TRACKER disappointed last time after two nice wins and can bounce back. CELTILLUS and NAVAL SECRET will be doing their best work late and could earn some money.

Selections:

#1 Speed Machine, #2 Inherit The Rain, #7 Bush Tracker, #4 Safe Return

Fairview, 30.06.2023, Race 6, Gallops, 1000m, Turf, R100.000, 15:35GMT+2

Race Summary: CLIFF TOP showed what he is capable of with a smart win last time out over this course and distance and may well follow up. CRUISE CONTROL has beaten that rival many times and can bounce back after the disappointing last run. Stable companion in the Gavin Smith yard STRANGER DANGER is lethal over this course and distance and will be fitter this time so could turn the tables. LEDELL’S ECHO is speedy and could earn some money. Ignore the last run of SPYDAS CORNER and he will improve back on the turf. AREA FIFTY ONE makes his local debut but is in a tough field.

Selections:

#1 Cliff Top, #2 Cruise Control, #3 Stranger Danger, #8 Ledell’s Echo

Fairview, 30.06.2023, Race 7, Gallops, 1200m, Turf, R150.000, 16:10GMT+2

Race Summary: A competitive race. We are opting for KWINTA’S LIGHT is the selection but suggest going wide in the exotics. KWINTA’S LIGHT may have found the 1600m a bit much last time out and did better in her two starts before that EKORIA let her supporters down last time out but has been lethal over this shorter distance and can bounce back to score. PHEDRA bounced back to her best with a good win last time out and at the end of the race her rivals will need to pick her off at the finish. CHERE FOR ME seemed much improved with blinkers last time out and can follow up. RED BERRY will be doing her best work at the finish and can earn some more money.

Selections:

#1 Kwinta’s Light, #5 Ekoria, #2 Phedra, #3 Red Berry

Fairview, 30.06.2023, Race 8, Gallops, 1600m, Turf, R83.000, 16:45GMT+2

Race Summary: The last race is a tough handicap. BOURNEMOUTH is improving and has been quickening well in his races so could have more to offer. WAITING FOR SUMMER was not disgraced when third last time out and can earn some more money. ATKINSON GRIMSHAW and THEN IN FOCUS have been disappointing of late but can run well over this track and trip. DAWN OF A NEW ERA showed improvement last time and can do even better this time. IRISH RAIN is usually not too far behind and can earn some money. EL ROMIACHI and QUE SHIRAZ were not far behind last time out and could contest the finish.

Selections:

#9 Bournemouth, #5 Dawn Of A New Era, #8 El Romiachi, #2 Waiting For Summer

Best Win: #6 CATCHUSIFYOUCAN

Best Value Bet:

Best Longshot: #9 BOURNEMOUTH
