THREE COINS is a half sister to Grade 1 runner-up Ciao Bella out of Grade 1 winning Bela-Bela but follow the betting moves on all. TRIPTOTHEWOODS ran well in open company and that was also in heavy going. She should run a decent race here. WINTER RAINFALL didn’t show much on debut but could have made any amount of improvement during a layoff. DE JANEIRO has much experience and hasn’t drawn badly. She can earn a prize.

Race Summary: Justin Snaith saddles three scopey fillies and could dominate. SUN SPECTACULAR was eye catching on debut and should come on in leaps and bounds. She receives 3kg from BELOW DECK who won her second start even though incredibly green in running. The latter is also dropping in distance but looks to be headed for better things. UNCONQUERABLE LADY was tried in a feature after a rest but looked to have needed the run. She could be dangerous back on good ground. More can improve and get into the money.

Race Summary: Some highly regarded youngsters make this a nice race. PARATROOPER didn’t run to form last time and has many to get by on that run but he may be best down the straight for now and could turn it around. SPRING PALACE was tagged very late by MY GOLLY MOLLY but is 3kg better off and the drop in distance could suit. HLUHLUWE and MONUMENTAL weren’t far off in that race and both may have been better suited to different tactics. The former may go better racing upfront while the latter may be better switched off. MY GOLLY MOLLY can make further improvement. GREENLAND rates the dark horse.

GRADUATION TIME improved with blinkers but has also drawn toward the outside and may have his work cut out. The majority are first-timers and the betting market could be the best guide to finding the winner. SEEKING THE LIFE is related to high class sorts and could attract support from gate one. CABARET has a pedigree full of speed and looks well placed as well.

Race Summary: It looks to be between SNOW PILOT and OLIVER. Juvenile SNOW PILOT will have gained valuable experience against his elders last time. He has run well in all starts to date and can score his overdue maiden win. OLIVER turned in his best performance to date when beaten a neck and can go one better if ready after a rest. LADY MAJORCA tired late after showing good pace in her second start. She is bred to enjoy the trip. ETOILEFILLANTE didn’t show much on debut but is a well-bred individual that may show a lot more this time. NO APOLOGIES has been making steady improvement.

Race Summary: It may have been a bunched finish last time but ANALYTIC was only beaten a neck into second and has drawn well again. She could make more improvement over the longer trip. EPIKLEROS was second to a promising individual and could show the strength of that form. She is by Master Of My Fate and should be effective over the distance. WOMAN’S WORLD wasn’t far off ANALYTIC and with a bit of luck could fight it out. SUNSHINE DAY, LICKETY SPLIT and DAWN OF GOLD are lightly raced and could suddenly impress over the longer trip. If GO LIKE FLO overcomes her draw she could be dangerous.

Race Summary: It would be great to see LINEBACKER come back to best and capture another feature. He ran an encouraging race last time and is well weighted here. FIREALLEY finished ahead of LINEBACKER and it was a hard fought second after dictating matters last time. He would be deserving. SUGAR MOUNTAIN seems to be getting better with age and goes for a hat-trick. He could go on to better things from here. SPEED MACHINE is overdue and wasn’t far off in his last two. He will need to overcome the widest gate but wet going could aid his chances. SACHDEV and TRIPLE TIME are capable – more in it.

Race Summary: PHILOSOPHISE enjoyed this trip a few runs back winning well. She has held form since and may notch up another win but has to overcome the widest gate. METAR is another that is knocking at the door. She did very well from a wide draw in her last start and has now been given a decent draw. CLOUD CHASER didn’t run badly after just winning her maiden and the well-bred filly can make further improvement. SYMPHONY OF LIGHT runs as if capable over this distance and could run on best. ISLAND TREASURE is holding form but has yet to win over the distance.

Race Summary: MUCHO DINERO promised much earlier, so much so that he was tried in the Grade 1 Splashout Cape Derby. He ran a fair race after gelding and is the one to watch. The wetter it gets the better NIGHT RULER does. The half brother to legend Jet Dark is in good form and should have every chance. ROYAL WATCH has also been consistent and will be having his third run after a rest so a peak effort can be expected. Trainer Glen Kotzen has three and all are well weighted. FLOWER OF SAIGON could be the stable elect on riding arrangements. She should also run a big race on form.
