1. ISMAEL PAINT – Is in flying form, won well at Vichy last time over 1000m and is confidently
selected to follow up

all bets
4. GUERREIRA – Has been a touch off form and hard to fancy. Happy to dismiss her chances
5. SHELBYLANDOR – Won her penultimate start, boasts faithful form and ran well in 3rd at Vichy
over 1000m last time. Big runner
6. ROSA PARKS – Seldom far off the action but others seem to be stronger for the win and place.
Happy to ignore this time from the shortlist
7. SHAMASUN – Was a winner four runs back at this course. Expect her to build on last run at Dax
over 1400m when 5th. Outsider value

fair form. A quartet must
Summary : ISMAEL PAINT (1) is rated 34 due to his solid and consistent flying form. He looks set
to win this event. SHELBYLANDOR (5) is a talented filly that is in mustard form currently. She can
give plenty of cheek and is a serious proposition for the gold medal. WILD WEST (2) and SVOUL

both.

more to offer
Summary : SALAHUDIN (2) is the highest-rated runner in this Class 1 opening event and should
prove hard to beat on these terms. ZARIR (1) has improved with every outing so, given the strength
and consistency of his form, ought to pose a threat. Debut winner QASIDA (5) is highly regarded
and should, with natural improvement expected, make her presence felt too. ZULU WARRIOR (3)
will have to pick up the pieces.
SELECTIONS
SALAHUDIN (2) – ZARIR (1) – QASIDA (5) – ZULU WARRIOR (3)

Prix de Diane last year. Not taken lightly
Summary : PRETTY TIGER (4) was absent for almost a year but has found the right rhythm in
three comeback outings, improving with each. He finished 3rd at this venue last time and, on the
evidence of that display, needn’t make a great deal of progress to win here. Consistent MACHETE
