Promising galloper GOLDEN PAYOUT recaptured his winning form last start and is on target for successive victories in the 1200m Class 4 contest at Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
The horse formerly known as Wanted Payout has not lost his zest for racing following a seven-month break. The five-year-old resumed on July 22 and did not disgrace over 1275m when he closed off well to finish third after a moderate beginning.
GOLDEN PAYOUT was very impressive second-up, producing his familiar quick turn of acceleration to win over 1100m here on August 5. The Charles Leck-trained gelding is building a good record in Malaysia with four wins from nine starts and is expected to add to the win tally this weekend.
Leopard ready to Eclipse his rivals
Consistent gelding LEOPARD ECLIPSE appears on track of a winning return in the 1400m Supreme C contest.
LEOPARD ECLIPSE has performed well this year and is currently chalking up his best season figures of three wins and six placings from 13 starts. The seven-year-old is coming off two minor placings in a row culminating with a second, beaten a neck, behind the in-form Pasir Pinji over the mile three weeks ago.
Different tactics were adopted on the gelding at his start prior when he led and established a big break before he was eventually overhauled to finish third over the 1800m trip. LEOPARD ECLIPSE is a versatile type who looks ideally placed to rack up his fourth victory this year.
