Race Preview
R1 – PRIX DE JONQUIERES – 2400m (a1 1/2m) – TURF – Claiming Handicap – Class 4 – Flat – EUR € 16.000
1. QUICK FLASH – Has been very consistent this year managing to earn in all six of his
appearances and a win looks nearby. Winning chance
2. SEAGALI – His last two efforts haven’t been great finishing 15th and 7th respectively but now
faces slightly easier. Include in all bets
3. BAMCALYB – Finished 6th last time out over 1950m and the step up in trip along with a drop in
class looks ideal. Big runner
4. SEEKING DICKENS – Ran a cracking 2nd last time out returning off a layoff and could easily
follow up. Each way chance
5. LADY MAG – Won over 3400m at her most recent start but won’t find life easy dropping in trip
and taking on the boys. Place chance
6. HALIMI – Finished 7th over 2400m last time out and needs to do more on recent form to get
involved. Others preferred
Summary : QUICK FLASH (1) is an honest campaigner that would be deserving off a win which
could come against this lot. BAMCALYB (3) has been racing against a lot stronger and could find
this race to his liking especially stepping back up in trip. SEAGALI (2) hasn’t been at his best off
late but will appreciate being in calmer waters. SEEKING DICKENS (4) will strip much fitter for this
run and shouldn’t be discounted.

1. SAGANTI – Cracking run on debut when finishing 2nd and the step up in trip is ideal. Massive
runner
2. GILDED DRAGON – Ran 3rd in his first start finishing 4L off them and with natural progression,
he should be there. Place chance
3. NAJWAN – Has had two starts to date finishing 6th and 5th respectively but will need to show
more to win. Place claims
4. UN INSTANT – Finished behind Human Evolution on debut and there shouldn’t be a lot
separating them in this. Others preferred
5. BLOOMEREC – Unlucky not to get his head in front on debut just finding one too good but could
make amends here. Winning chance
6. HUMAN EVOLUTION – Well held back in 5th on debut and will need to take quite a big step
forward to win. Others preferred
Summary : SAGANTI (1) can only get better with racing and a reproduction of his debut run will
see him go close. BLOOMEREC (5) was narrowly denied on debut and if the step down is trip
doesn’t affect him then he should challenge strongly. GILDED DRAGON (2) should be able to build
on his first run but has a couple to beat. NAJWAN (3) has had two runs under the belt and could
find a minor spot.

1. FAKARAVA – Eye catching run on debut when finishing 3rd over the trip and is sure to come on
a lot. Leading claims
2. IRADIE – Much better run last time out when upped in trip to 1600m but needs to improve more
to feature. Others inspire more confidence
3. ORLHENA – Ran a promising race on debut finishing 2nd, just in front of Fakarava and could go
one better. Big runner
4. DARLING DARLING – Showed that there is something to look forward to from this filly after
running a solid 4th on debut. Each way chance
5. NICE DREAM – Finished 4th on debut just over 7L behind the winner and would need to do more
to win. Others preferred
6. LA STRANEZZA – 7th on her first race track appearance and based on that there’s very little to
get excited about. Hard to recommend
7. MORNING AIR – Dam won once over 2500m which could indicate that this filly needs further.

Summary : FAKARAVA (1) ran a brilliant race first time out and with more to come, she is taken
to reverse the form with the filly that ran in front of her. ORLHENA (3) was the filly that ran 2nd in
that race and she looks set to run a huge race. DARLING DARLING (4) ran 4th on debut and she
could well finish closer. MORNING AIR (7) is a newcomer that warrants a market check.

R4 – PRIX PALOMELLE – 1400m (a7f) – TURF – Claiming – Flat – EUR € 24.000
1. GOTTA SKEDADDLE – Finished 4th over 1200m last time out and was far from disgraced. The
step up in trip could be what she is looking for. Each way chance
2. STARZO FAL – Ran a poor race last time out but his previous form could see him earn a minor
position here. Place chance
3. FAVORITE CRIME – Dam was unraced and this newcomer would need to be something decent
to win in this race. Follow the market
4. AODHA – Showed nothing on debut when finishing 10th of eleven and needs to take a significant
step forward. Others preferred
5. MA MOME – Looks to be a fairly useful type having already notched up three wins from seven
starts. In search off that hat trick here. Big runner
6. SWEETYDANCER – Improved last start when finishing 3rd but needs to do a lot more to get a
blow in here. Others inspire more confidence
7. HONKY TONK WOMAN – Well held on debut run when back in 7th spot but is open to any
amount of improvement. Could find a place
8. GEE WHIZZER – Has been tested at Listed level without featuring and didn’t particularly do much
when dropped in class last time out. Hard to fancy
9. BOMBEY – Facile winner last time out and comes in with a handy galloping weight which is a
huge advantage. Winning chance
10. FRENCH GIRL EFFECT – Has had two runs to date with neither making much appeal and she
needs to improve to feature. More needed
Summary : MA MOME (5) is in terrific form at the moment and looks to reel off a hat trick which is
well within her reach. BOMBEY (9) put his opposition to the sword last time out and looks a lively
contender here. GOTTA SKEDADDLE (1) steps up to 1400m which could suit and she can run a
decent race. HONKY TONK WOMAN (7) can take a step forward on her debut performance.

R5 – PRIX DE COURTIEUX – 1800m (a1 1/8m) – TURF – Condition Race – Class 2 – Flat – EUR € 28.000
1. RIDPOUR – Ran 4th last time out over 1600m but remains with quite a bit of scope for
improvement. Dark horse here
2. DUC DE MORNY – Has been tested at Listed and Group of recent and with this representing a
drop in class, it would be no surprise if he were to bounce back. Include in all bets
3. WOODSTOCK CITY – Has performed very well this year winning twice and his latest victory is
one that we can take a lot of positives out off. Can follow up
4. CAELESTIS – Finished 2nd last time out behind Garbo over 2000m but has her work cut out in
this. Hard to recommend
5. EPOUSTOUFLANTE – Comfortable winner over track and trip last time out and could be one to
side with again. Big runner
6. GARBO – Tested in Listed company in her last two starts but would need to show more to feature.
Hard to fancy
7. SACRED FLOWER – Won her maiden last time out but this does look to be a lot more tougher
now. Others preferred
8. OUR TOWN – Decent run in 4th last time out over 2400m and the drop back in trip shouldn’t be
an issue. Place chance
Summary : EPOUSTOUFLANTE (5) won her maiden last time out but there’s something about her
that makes her very appealing here. WOODSTOCK CITY (3) is in steady form and looks primed to
go close again. DUC DE MORNY (2) drops in class and could bounce back to some of his better
form. OUR TOWN (8) could have a say in proceedings on the back of decent run last time out.

1. SHARP RISE – Won well last time out and is on the up which is a huge positive to his chances.
Big runner
2. BEAUTIFUL MEMORY – Winner of her last two starts over 2400m and go in search of a hat trick
which won’t be easy to attain. Can place
3. MARELIE – Ran a good race out the maidens last time out when back in 2nd and could run well
again. Should go close
4. CALIYZA – Maiden winner over 2500m last time out and there should be more to come from this
individual. Place chance
5. MR LE PHILOSOPHE – Finished 5th at his most recent outing and is held by a couple on that
run. Others preferred
6. MARINDJA – Held back in 4th last time out over 2900m but remains capable and could get
involved. One for the shortlist
7. CYANE – Won her maiden over 2900m and now meets stronger so will find life tougher. More
required to feature
8. AIGRETTE – Fairly consistent without winning and should be on the premises once again. Place
chance
9. WHIP DRALLIV – Hasn’t shown much to get excited about and steps up in trip which could see
him improve. Hard to fancy
Summary : MARELIE (3) followed up her maiden win with a cracking 2nd and should be able to
go on from here. SHARP RISE (1) is in very good form and a big effort is on the cards. MARINDJA
(6) can definitely get involved in proceedings and could offer some value. AIGRETTE (8) is held by
Sharp Rise but should run a good race and has a money chance.
