The trainer and jockey combination of Peter Lee and S Hafis featured heavily across the race card at Ipoh on Saturday, after the pair won three of the nine races.
Though both trainer and jockey may not feature often on the winner’s list, Saturday’s haul of winners just go to show that you’ve got to be in it to win it.
King Ravana was the first to preside after ruling race one, a Class 5 Handicap over 1600m, before Magical Park stormed to victory in race 2, also a Class 5 Handicap over 1600m.
Already amidst one of their best days out at the races, Lee and Hafis struck again in race 4, where Thai Baht got the money in a Class 5 Handicap over 1300m.
