safely held
2. INSIDE MATTERS – Decent 4th on only run over 1400m at Deauville three weeks ago. Will know
more and improve for that run. Player
3. SITOI – Unplaced on only run over 1600m in August at Deauville. Others look better equipped
4. NOPE NEVER – Nice 3rd last time over 1400m at Deauville in early August. Can be very
competitive
5. ESPRIT DES BOIS – Newcomer by Waldgeist, likely to improve for this outing, from a top trainer.

6. RAMADAN – Unraced colt by Le Havre, from a good stable. Will be well prepared for a good
debut run, market can be informative
7. SUPERCOOLED – Newcomer by Lope De Vega, Fabre trained, he will be well tuned for a bold
effort. Any market support should be noted
8. SIENNOIS – Unraced son of Advertise, this outing will be of benefit. Market can be a good guide
Summary : With a couple of encouraging runs so far NOPE NEVER (4) can get off the mark. He
is improving with racing and gets the verdict ahead of INSIDE MATTERS (2) who did well when
fourth on his only run at Deauville three weeks ago. He can improve a good deal from that effort
and make his rivals work hard. RAMADAN (6) catches the eye on his profile and he will be well
prepared to be involved at the finish, as will the Andre Fabre-trained SUPERCOOLED (7) who
looks like the first string of the stable companions.

outing and merits consideration
4. VILLA DES ARTS – Unplaced on only run over 1400m in mid-August at Deauville. Has work to
do to feature
5. LIYA CHOPE – 9th on only start over 1400m in early August at Le Lion D’Angers. Others make
more appeal
6. ATLANTIC WAYS – Plenty to like about a debut 2nd at Deauville in mid-August over 1400m.
Can go one better
7. HIT IT – 5th on only run so far over 1400m in mid-August. Can not be overlooked
8. AGRIMONIA – Newcomer by Morandi, will be more streetwise for this outing. Watch the betting
for clues
9. MULTIPLE CHOICE – Newcomer by No Nay Never, bred to be a two-year-old, from a good
trainer. Bold show likely
10. ZVIKOVA – Unraced filly by Fas, nice debut anticipated from a shrewd handler. Market can be
informative
Summary : ATLANTIC WAYS (6) ran a race full of promise at Deauville in mid-August when
second. She can improve from that experience and gets the vote ahead of PARTIR (1) who finished
well when second herself when last seen at the start of August, she was a shade unfortunate not
to win and will appreciate the extra 100m. MULTIPLE CHOICE (9) has a speedy profile and is bred
to be sharp at two. She will be well-tuned for a bold run on debut. HIT IT (7) looks best of the
remainder after showing some talent on her only run last month over 1400m.

needed in a better race

Summary : ANTE POST (1) can win despite having the most weight to carry. His last effort was a
solid performance and he can score from possibly BLACK MORNING (5) who does pose a threat.
She shaped well when second over 1800m last time earlier this month and is consistent.
ASPHODELE MIA (10) is the one to consider as a good each-way option. Her confidence will be
high after scoring last time at Le Lion D’Angers last month. SCILIAR (4) is another that enters
calculations after a good second at Strasbourg when last seen in June in a Class 4 handicap.

Summary : Small field for this Listed race. BOLD ACT (3) makes the journey across the water from
the UK. He has won on French soil , last month in a Listed race and ran well last month when third
in a Group 3 race at this track in July. He will be expected to score. You can make a case for the
rest to chase home the selection. ZULU WARRIOR (2) is capable of making things hard for the
selection. He won a decent Class 1 last time and will be involved at the business end. RASHFORD
(4) can also be on the premises and warrants respect.

Summary : Recent winner over 1400m at Tarbes, MUCHAS GRACIAS (4) could be the safest
option in an open claimer. He is a fairly honest performer at this level. Having scored at Argentan
last time, FAVORY CHOP (1) is a threat, he will be full of confidence for that success and will make
his rivals think. BOMBEY (5) has only been out of the frame once in six races and is the place bet
safest option. IHOA (8) can also make things interesting if they put their best foot forward.

head back in front again. CITY OF HOPE (8) looks like the biggest danger. He ran well two runs
ago at Deauville when third over 1300m and should stay the extra trip. CUEROS (12) is consistent
and has been placed on the last four outings, he can make his presence felt. CLOSE TO YOU (1)
is one to include in the place betting market having scored two runs ago at Clairefontaine on the
21st of August.
