Six-year-old galloper GOLD SKY EXPRESS has improved rapidly in recent months and will be aiming for his third win for the year when he lines up in the 1100m Class 5 contest at Kuala Lumpur on Saturday.

GOLD SKY EXPRESS has been racing consistently, coming off successive minor placings since recording his second career victory over 1275m on July 22. The Wayne Lim-prepared gelding began moderately before sprinting home from a rearward position two weeks back when beaten a half-length.

GOLD SKY EXPRESS started favourite in his two recent defeats and providing he receives a better jump from the barrier, he receives a chance to atone this weekend.

Brandz to produce the Perfect result

The Charles Leck-trained galloper PERFECT BRANDZ will be freshened and appears on track for a winning return in the 1100m Class 5 contest.

PERFECT BRANDZ will be having its second run back in Class 5 company following his last-start fourth in Penang over the 1100m trip on July 30.

The seven-year-old did not appear suited by a muddling pace at his first run on the smaller circuit, finishing just over three lengths from the winner.

Back on home turf this Saturday, PERFECT BRANDZ appears better placed under the racing conditions and will prove hard to beat.
