Last-start winner, WHIZ FIZZ, appears to be on track for successive wins in the 1200m Class 4 contest in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday.
WHIZ FIZZ has been a model of consistency for the Simon Dunderdale stable since making his local debut in April, posting two wins and four placings from eight starts.
Following a victory in Class 5 company on May 28, WHIZ FIZZ has been racing competitively against Class 4 opposition before breaking through in the grade when leading throughout here three weeks ago.
With two wins and two placings from four tries at the track and distance, WHIZ FIZZ appears to be in a winnable race this Saturday and should prove hard to beat once again.
Rahotu all the rage
In-form galloper, RAHOTU, has a chance of picking up another Class 5 race as he aims for a winning hat-trick in Kuala Lumpur this Saturday.
After twelve unplaced efforts in Singapore, RAHOTU has found his niche since joining the Richard Lines stable earlier this year. The six-year-old immediately caught the local scene’s attention with a comfortable 3.5-length victory over 1175m on August 19.
RAHOTU was heavily supported to start as the odds-on favorite when leading throughout the 1200m race here a fortnight ago. The Irish-bred gelding has displayed an abundance of early speed in both of his Malaysian runs, and he should prove hard to catch again if he finds an easy lead.
