Apprentice T Ammar was in brilliant form for the month of August, securing 5 wins out of 11 rides during that month alone at the Selangor track. Prior to this, his last victory was back in early May when he rode Good Fight.
T Ammar’s winning rides in August included Ichika Bachika, Whiz Fizz, Ansu, and he was onboard Pasir Pinji, the upcoming Selangor Gold Cup runner, twice.
The 26-year-old Selangor-based apprentice, who is under the tutelage of Simon Dunderdale, only began riding at the start of this year and has achieved an impressive record of 10 wins out of 51 rides, boasting a remarkable strike rate of 19.6%.
