Race Preview
R1 – PRIX FLORALINE III – 2300m (a1 7/16m) – TURF – Condition Race – Flat – EUR € 16.500
1. JOCKER DE LA BRUNIE AA – He was a facile winner at his last start over this trip and from a
plum draw he should get a smooth run in transit. One to beat
2. FRAN DU PECOS AA – She was far from disgraced in 4th position last time out over 2400m and
should run an honest race. Lurker
3. STARSHOOTER AA – He has had three runs to date in which he has been comfortably held and
it’s hard to see him getting closer to the action. Easy to look elsewhere
4. HORTENSE DE GANE AA – She won her only race just over a year ago and hasn’t been able
to reproduce that level of form ever since. Unlikely winner
5. JALNA VERGOIGNAN AA – She has put in four moderate efforts and it’s hard to have any
confidence in this individuals chances. Would be a surprise winner
6. PIC DE NORE AA – His only start to date has yielded in an 11th place finish which doesn’t
suggest a lot about his chances going forward. Needs to improve
7. WINNX AA – She got the job done in effortless fashion last time out and there looks to be more
to come from this individual. Should run well
8. FINCH HATTON AA – He has his first run on the flat in over a year and and would have his work
cut out to be competitive. Others make more appeal
9. KATIOUCHA ROCMARIE AA – Followed up her maiden win with a fair fifth over 2200m in a
form line that is represented quite strongly here. Can get into the mix
10. MON BRAZIL AA – He finished behind two reopposing types last time out and could find himself
being held once again but one to include for the minor spots. Place chance
11. FAIR LADY DU PECOS AA – She finished 2nd on debut but was well beaten and will need to
improve on that run to land a blow. Others preferred
12. IVANIA TROIS AA – She ran a much improved 4th at her most recent outing and with a bit of
luck in running could get closer to those that had her number. Place claims
13. BLACK MAGIC WOMAN AA – Runner up to Winnx AA last time out and will have hopes of
turning the form around which won’t be too easy given the margin of defeat. Place chance
14. VIVIANE DE LARACHI AA – Her debut run was poor and there isn’t anything going for this filly
to be upbeat about her chances. Would be a shock winner
Summary : JOCKER DE LA BRUNIE AA (1) was an impressive winner and he can only get better
and grow in confidence with that win. WINNX AA (7) made no mistakes when putting her opposition
away with ease last time out and could confirm that form. BLACK MAGIC WOMAN AA (13) has fair
form and could get involved for the placings. MON BRAZIL AA (10) made huge improvement in his
last and will need to confirm it.

1. THE MAGIC MAN – He is seldom far off the action and now coming back in trip, it could see him
put in a big performance on a mark one point lower than what he has won off before. Winning
chance
2. KARKHOV – His last two efforts have been poor but if he can bounce back to his previous form,
he’d be in with a small shout. Place contender
3. CHIEF OF STALL – He was a winner two starts back before being well held in his recent effort
over track and trip. Warrants healthy respect
4. OLANA – She won a good race last time out but only beat four rivals home which leads us to
question the strength of the field. Place chance at best
5. GRISGRISES – After a promising 2022, he hasn’t managed to deliver anything of substance this
year and is hard to fancy on current from. Easy to look elsewhere
6. LILAS DE FRANCE – Runner up in her last two efforts over this trip but she needs to up her
game to challenge in this field. More required
7. BLACK GAIA – It’s difficult to assess her chances given she has tried three contrasting distances
in her last three starts and hasn’t shone. Hard to recommend
8. SCHWANENSEE – She isn’t doing a lot at present to keep her followers positive and she needs
a complete turnaround in form. Would be a surprise winner
9. KHELLE TARTARE – She isn’t in the greatest form but her only win to date has come over
2000m so it makes sense to be running her over further which should suit. Each way chance
10. MONA LISA – She has been off form for some time now and it doesn’t seem likely to get better
anytime soon so is easy to pass by. Would be a shock winner
11. CAFE SAIGON – He has improved in his recent performances and is getting closer to another
win but he’s not the most reliable sort. Can win a race of this nature
12. AKINATHOR GAME – He has not tasted success since 2020 but has come a long way down
in the ratings which could be vital to his chances. Place claims
13. PEDRAZA LESCRIBAA – Non Partant
14. QUEEN LIBERTY – She finished 2nd last time out albeit well beaten and will need to show
more in order to get involved. Others preferred
Summary : THE MAGIC MAN (1) drops in trip and has the right credentials to be winning these
type of races. CAFE SAIGON (11) doesn’t win often but he seems to be getting there slowly and is
worth a second look in terms of the win. CHIEF OF STALL (3) has a bit of confidence on his side
which will help taking on horses that lack it. KHELLE TARTARE (9) is one to keep a close eye on
over this trip and represents decent value.

1. MOON DREAM – He has a tough ask at the weights but he could be one to include for the minor
position just based on recent form. Place chance at best
2. MEXICAN DREAM – Last start winner that beat a couple of reopposing sorts but at the weights
she could struggle to confirm that form. Place chance
3. PARABAK – He is out of sorts at present and it is hard to be confident that he will produce a
positive effort in this lineup. Others make more appeal
4. BACIVER – Got his first victory of the year over 2400m last time out and with his confidence up,
there could be more to come. Big runner
5. NOIRE DESIRE – She won two starts back but didn’t manage to follow it up with a decent effort
and requires more consistency to be effective. Others make more appeal
6. POCA GEN – His recent form isn’t the most attractive and he needs to start showing more to
keep followers interested. Hard to fancy
7. MAD RIVER – He hasn’t won a race for over two years and his last performance wasn’t the most
inspiring finishing well off them in 4th. Improvement is required
8. CADE’S – He would have been in desperate need of his comeback run but will now need to take
a significant step forward to build on it. Others preferred
9. FORZA SEDACA – Pleasing run last time out when finishing 4th and back up in trip which is
likely to suit his running style. Each way chance
10. EL INGRATO – He is an individual that isn’t the most reliable and seems to lack effort at times
so it’s easy to look elsewhere. More needed
11. TEMPLE GATE – He wasn’t too far off the reopposing Selly last time out and could get closer
to her in this race. Each way chance
12. KALINQA – Her current form is moderate and lacks any substance which could indicate that
she is low on confidence. Needs to start shaping up
13. KIKINE JOLIE – She is knocking on the door for that next win which could come soon but meets
a fairly strong field so could have her work cut out. Others preferred
14. SELLY – She put in a solid performance over track and trip at her most recent appearance and
she is on track for a big run. Strong chance
Summary : BACIVER (4) was rewarded for consistency and could kick on with his career this year.
SELLY (14) comes into this with a nice galloping weight and could go very close. TEMPLE GATE
(11) should get involved in the finish and could get his head in front. MEXICAN DREAM (2) had the
measure of the two rivals selected in front of him but could be held this time around off his new
mark.
