Last-start winner OLYMPIA seems poised for consecutive victories as he takes on the 1100m Class 4 contest in Kuala Lumpur this Saturday.

OLYMPIA made his local debut in May but narrowly missed victory by a head after leading in his first race in six months. The six-year-old was immediately given a break and, just a fortnight ago, he dominated the competition, leading throughout and winning by a comfortable 1.75 lengths in the 1100m Class 5 race.

This weekend, OLYMPIA steps up to Class 4 for the first time, and based on his convincing win, it appears he’ll use his early pace to control the race, especially with a favorable weight advantage.

Qiji Auston can strike again

The six-year-old galloper, QIJI AUSTON, is set to continue the impressive streak for Selangor trainer Simon Dunderdale as he aims for back-to-back victories in the 1200m Class 5 race this Saturday.

QIJI AUSTON garnered significant market support, becoming the even-money favourite and securing his fourth local victory over 1250m just two weeks ago.

Arriving in Malaysia as a twenty-one-start maiden, QIJI AUSTON made an immediate impact by winning his first two local races towards the end of last year. Despite a 3kg weight rise, the gelding is expected to be a formidable contender and difficult to beat.
