thereabouts
2. GRIGNA DEL NORD – 5th on her only run to date over 1600m at Chantilly in September. Can
progress from that and can feature
3. TZAROVSKHA – Good 2nd over 1600m at La Teste on debut in early August. Can make good
progress from that effort and sets the standard
4. POPPIE SAN – Fair 4th over 1600m at this track in mid-September on the only run to date. Has
work to do
5. ZINGARELLE – Unraced daughter of Fas, will likely need this outing. Any market support
should be noted
6. TROPHANE – Newcomer by Camacho, from a respectable yard. With a nice profile this filly
can have a say at the finish

Summary : TZAROVSKHA (3) made a pleasing debut when second at La Teste in early August
over 1600m. She can improve from that and is the one to beat. NAFARROA (1) has shaped well
on both of her runs so far and rates the biggest danger to the selection. GRIGNA DEL NORD (2)
showed enough when fifth at Chantilly on her only run in a Class 2 event to suggest she is
capable of winning races. TROPHANE (6) makes up the shortlist.

SELECTIONS
TZAROVSKHA (3) – NAFARROA (1) – GRIGNA DEL NORD (2) – TROPHANE (6)

R2 – PRIX DS AUTOMOBILES BORDEAUX – PRIX BARON DE MONTESQUIEU – 1900m (a1 3/16m) – TURF – Condition Race – Maiden – Flat – EUR € 23.000

Ought to be on the premises
4. LET’S TWIST AGAIN – Unplaced on the only start so far over 1600m in early August. Should
improve but others rate higher
5. PORT GALLAND – 3rd at Tarbes over 1400m in a claimer on the only run so far in late August.
Can progress and has an outside place chance
6. TIESTO – Unraced gelding by Whipper, stable not renowned for debut winners. Sure to
improve for this experience
7. ALMANSUR – Newcomer by Almanzor, stable runners warrant respect, and this colt can
figure. Market can be informative
8. SNATCHER – Newcomer by Panis, can improve for this debut run. Any market support should
be noted

Summary : SOMKIYR (1) showed enough when third on his debut and can be more ‘streetwise’
today. He can score from likely main danger HOMME DE VALEUR (3) who showed ability when
sixth at La Teste over 1600m early last month. SPEEDY RECORD (2) looks like the each-way
angle and should be involved at the business end of the race. ALMANSUR (7) has a nice profile
and is worth watching in the betting market for any support.

SELECTIONS
SOMKIYR (1) – HOMME DE VALEUR (3) – SPEEDY RECORD (2) – ALMANSUR (7)

September. Can be too smart for his rivals
6. ETOILE DU COEUR – Won a Class 3 race last time over 2000m at Auch. Steps up in class but
she is lightly raced and merits consideration

find this too much

question. BECQUANIENTE (11) is one to include in all of the place bet permutations. BELLE
ANSE (4) is lightly raced and has plenty more to come.
