The Sports Toto Supreme Challenge Cup is expected to provide a reliable form line for this year’s G1 Coronation Cup (1600m) to be contested at Perak Turf Club on Sunday.

The two mares in the race, STREETS OF FIRE and XENA, filled the minor placings behind GOOD FIGHT in the feature and are both on target to break through in Group company.

STREETS OF FIRE goes up by 3kg from that performance and boasts an excellent third-up record (4:3-1-0), placing her in good stead despite never scoring over the mile previously. XENA displayed her customary turn of acceleration in successive wins recently and powered home from the wide draw last start.

GOOD FIGHT rises by 3.5kg from that feature win and was far from disgraced in the G1 Selangor Gold Cup prior to that. Penang Sprint Trophy winner, BERRY BLISS, received a mid-race check and never recovered in that cup race but can easily bounce back despite carrying the top weight.

It’s Game on for Stonks

Talented sprinter, GAMESTONKS, aims to bounce back from his last start defeat when he competes in the 1400m Mitavite Asia 25th Anniversary Cup on Sunday.

GAMESTONKS had a moderate start but closed off well from midfield to finish 2nd behind Chinese Tea in KL a fortnight ago. The seven-year-old had secured a winning hat trick prior to that, leading throughout on each occasion.

In ten local starts, GAMESTONKS has never missed a place, boasting 7 wins, and is expected to be a strong contender on his first visit to the Ipoh circuit.
