2. TOOGOODFORSCHOOL – Finally got her head in front at the 13th attempt at La Teste in early
September when last seen over 1400m. Can make things interesting
3. QUARTZ ROSE – 3rd last time over 1400m at Parislongchamp in late October in a claiming race.
Others make more appeal
4. KAMINO – Unplaced last time, 4th before that over 1400m at Saint-Cloud in May. Might find this
difficult
5. COUP DE SOLEIL – Nice win last time over 1600m at Lignieres in a Class 3 race in late October.
Live contender
6. SAIYLANA – Ran well when 4th over 1400m in a Class 3 race in mid-October at Niort last time
out. Can be competitive
Summary : ARISTOCRAZY (1) looks to be improving with racing and can win again under
Christophe Soumillon. She probably has the most to fear from COUP DE SOLEIL (5) who is also
a winner on her latest outing. TOOGOODFORSCHOOL (2) has been frustrating but she finally
managed to get her head in front last time out over 1400m at La Teste in September. She warrants
respect. SAIYLANA (6) is another worth a mention.

3. LET’S GET LOUD – Nice winner of a claimer at Le Croise-Laroche on October 11th when last
seen over 2500m. Competitive run is expected despite the drop back in distance
4. VRAIE STORM – 2nd at Nantes over 2400m on October 5th when last seen. Among the leading
chances
5. WARELIA – Unplaced last time over 2400m at Clairefontaine in October. Won a claimer in April
over 2500m at Nancy. Merits consideration on her best form
6. PINTER SANDS – Two unplaced runs so far, the latter over 2200m in mid-October in a maiden
race. Others make more sense
Summary : Top rated CATCH THE STARS (2) should be too smart for his rivals. He was not up to
Listed Class last time but won a claimer before that over 2400m in September at Saint-Cloud with
a bit in hand. His biggest threat could be LET’S GET LOUD (3) who scored last time over 2500m
last month and should be as effective over 300m less today. VRAIE STORM (4) is worth
consideration as is NEKOLETO (1) who ran a good race at Parislongchamp 17 days ago when
third.

Summary : KHAN (10) looks the likely winner in a very tricky handicap. He was a good second at
Chantilly two runs ago in a Class 2 handicap and is the tentative selection. ROSANNE DU GOUET
(8) can be expected to give a competitive performance off a nice racing weight. BIG STAR (9) is
lightly raced and if he can overcome a wide draw he can be involved under Christophe Soumillon.
APAX (1) warrants plenty of respect despite having top-weight.

5. MEASURE OF TIME – 3rd three runs ago in a Listed race at Deauville over 3000m in late July.
Has run credibly since in a Group 2 and a Listed race since that run. Leading chance
6. OR GRIS – Fair 4th in a Class 2 race over 2200m in late October when last racing. Place claims

Summary : VERT LIBERTE (3) was far from disgraced in the Qatar Prix Du Cadran (Gr.1) last
time. He will find this a lot less taxing and he looks like the likely winner after a good third at
Parislongchamp in September in the Prix Gladiateur (Gr.3) over 3100m. MEASURE OF TIME (5)
is a danger, he has been competing in Listed and Group Class races on the last three runs, with
credit. OR GRIS (6) is the each-way option. ROSIR (8) looks best of the remainder.

Moulins in April. Might find a few of these too smart
4. BELLAELO – Has been knocking loudly at the door and looks a solid player first time in a
handicap
5. DELIA CHOPE – Won over 1200m at Dax in early October when last seen. Has outside place
claims
6. SCAR CHOPE – 4th last time, won before that over 1200m at Nimes on October 1st in a claimer.

7. FERRARI FEVER – Confirmed under these conditions and has the assistance of Christophe
Soumillon. Cannot be ignored
8. SENZA TE – Second on sticky ground at Le Croisé-Laroche on October 28. In sparkling form
and has every chance once again
9. PERLI CHOPE – 2nd over 1200m at Dax in early October in a maiden when last racing. Others
look better equipped in a competitive handicap
10. SEMENOVKA – A good fourth at Cholet behind FERRARI FEVER (7) last time. Fitted with
cheekpieces for the first time and is respected
11. GOGOKA – Won last time over 1100m at Pardubice(CZE) and before that over 1100m at Salon
Provence in September over the same trip. More is needed to win again
12. PRETTY BERRY – Fair 4th last time over 1200m at Marseille Borely 15 days ago in a maiden.
This might be a step too far
13. BAWE ISLAND – 4th over 1100m at Le Croise Laroche when last seen 10 days ago. Will not
lack fitness but others rate higher
Summary : SENZA TE (8) comes in this race on the back of two solid efforts and has once again
the assistance of Lorette Gallo who brings a 7.5 claim in. BELLAELO (4) is knocking hard at the
door and could finally get that first elusive success. THE CAT’S (2) is a proven competitor on testing
ground and is sure to run a big race. FERRARI FEVER (7) is another one who looks competitive.

18. BAILEYS SANS DOUTE – 3rd in a claimer last time over 3000m in mid-October. Hard to fancy
despite having the lowest weight
Summary : ALWAYS VIV (3) can get a nice position in the early stages of the race from a good
draw in this handicap and is selected to get the job done under Christophe Soumillon. JEWEL DE
CERISY (5) is one to consider carefully and poses the biggest danger to the main selection.
DIAMOND FOR REEL (10) has solid claims of making the top four after a confidence-boosting
success last time at Fontainebleau. KING KARA (1) makes up the shortlist.
