Highly promising sprinter INVINCIBLE SAGE looks all set to secure back-to-back wins when he returns to Sha Tin for the Class 3 Handicap over 1000m on Saturday.
The David Hall-trained galloper arrived in Hong Kong well-credentialed, having posted three wins from seven starts in Australia. However, an early win in Hong Kong eluded him in his first three starts, although he did show plenty of promise. After an unlucky fourth-place finish at this track and distance on debut in early May, INVINCIBLE SAGE went on to secure two third placings over 1200m.

With those runs under his belt, and showing natural improvement during the off-season based on his trials, INVINCIBLE SAGE returned to the minimum trip for his first-up assault three weeks ago. Ridden patiently by Hugh Bowman, INVINCIBLE SAGE let rip inside the 250m to claim one of the most electrifying wins of the season, suggesting he has plenty more to come.
Elsewhere, in-form four-year-old MODULECONSTRUCTION appears to get all the favours required to score two wins on end in the Class 3 Handicap over 1200m.
Trainer Francis Lui’s charge has raced eight times so far for two wins and six placings, with his second career win occurring on his first-up run this season in early October. His second try in Class 3 that day, MODULECONSTRUCTION let down with his usual turn-of-foot to score narrowly but impressively.
Well deserved, Moduleconstruction! 🙌

MODULECONSTRUCTION has turned in an easy trial win in between runs and maps to get all the favours from barrier 1 this week.
Out to spoil the party is trainer Danny Shum’s unbeaten three-year-old CHAMPION METHOD. The youngster debuted with a tough win down the 1000m straight in early September before repeating the dose second-up when rising to 1200m.
He's tough and tenacious! 💪

On that occasion, the up-and-comer drew wide in barrier 10 but his early toe enabled jockey Andrea Atzeni to hold a position outside the leader throughout. Despite looking vulnerable over concluding stages, CHAMPION METHOD staved off a late challenge and stuck his neck out to score by a short head.
