Talented performer Good Fight appears precisely on cue for the winning hat-trick as he steps out in the RM 100,000 Charity Cup (1400m) at Ipoh on Sunday.

Good Fight has been a revelation since joining Simon Dunderdale’s stables last year, boasting eight wins out of seventeen starts in Malaysia. The six-year-old achieved his first feature win in the 1400m Listed Sports Toto Supreme Challenge Cup in KL last month.

This impressive performance was followed by a remarkable victory in the 1600m G1 Coronation Cup during his sole appearance at Ipoh three weeks ago. Having won four out of nine races over the 1400m distance, the gelding is currently in the best form of his racing career.

Coming off a maiden victory in its last race, APIS stands a chance to defy the class upgrade in the upcoming 1300m Class 4 contest.

APIS displayed dominance in its third local start, leading throughout the 1100m race in KL just a fortnight ago. Despite having only raced twice at Class 4 previously, the four-year-old managed a minor placing during its Malaysian debut back in September.

Although facing a 4kg weight increase from its winning performance, APIS seems poised for success in what appears to be a winnable race this Sunday.
