WHITE HOOF BIRD (2) will have the fitness edge following his last start 2nd here over 1200m earlier on December 2, his first run for nearly six months. The form of SAN ANDREAS (4) tapered off towards the end of his last preparation which culminated in an unplaced effort in the G1 Selangor Gold Cup but he does possess the class to bounce back on best form. CHEVAL BLANC (6) defied all challengers at big odds on November 12 when leading throughout and will be out to make it two from two locally for the Frank Maynard stable. RONALDO’S DREAM (7) is racing in career best form following successive Class 3 victories and is capable of measuring up against the high graders. WAR DRAGON (5) finished midfield, beaten 4.5 lengths, when resuming three weeks ago and his excellent second up statistic keeps him under notice for a trifecta position.
