ratings and ought to be in the top three

Toulouse in a Class 4 race over 1200m. Avoidable

7. IZAKAYA – 5th last time over 1200m at Toulouse 12 days ago in a Class 4 handicap. Out of
form and hard to fancy
8. KOREM – 5th last time and 2nd before that at Saint-Cloud on November 10th over 1200m in a
Class 3 handicap. Others make more appeal

Summary: In a moderate race that will not take much winning it may pay to side with SOLITARY
MAN (5). He has been running well without a win of late but has been found a good opportunity
by his connections to get back in the winner’s enclosure. VICTORY CAT (4) has plenty of ability
but like a few others is not the most consistent, if in the mood he can feature. LA CATELLA (6)
and LA FIBRE (2) are the ones that could be each-way options.

SELECTIONS
SOLITARY MAN (5) – VICTORY CAT (4) – LA CATELLA (6) – LA FIBRE (2)

competitive on his debut
2. ADVIENTO – Unraced son of Almanzor, the dam was useful winning at Group 3 class in
France. Ought to be in the mix
3. LOUP DU PYLA – Newcomer by Dabirsim, stable runners are not fully forward usually on their
debut runs. Any market support will be informative
4. QUARTIER MAITRE – Newcomer by Zarak, leading trainer who might not have this gelding
fully wound up for this debut run. Watch the betting
5. BAYAMOON – Newcomer by Toronado, top trainer who can ready a debutante. Market
support should be noted
6. SHASTANA – Newcomer by Bated Breath, nice profile and should be well tuned for a bold
show on debut. Monitor the betting
7. SANDY – Unraced filly by Cloth Of Stars, should improve for this opening run. The betting can
be the best guide
8. LAS VEGAS DREAM – Unraced filly by Oasis Dream, the dam was a winner. Shrewd stable
and any market support should be informative
9. VIGATATA – Newcomer by Sea The Moon, the stable runners warrant respect on debut.
Market support can guide
10. MASSAGOTE – Unraced filly by Kheleyf, stable runners tend to improve for a run of two.
Monitor the betting exchanges

Summary: NONANCOURT (1) looks good on paper and a bold run can be expected on his
debut. He can get the better of the nicely bred ADVIENTO (2) whose dam was a useful performer
winning at Group 3 class in France. He will make his rivals work hard. The filly VIGATATA (9) has
a choice pedigree and is one to keep a close eye on in the betting exchanges. SHASTANA (6)
could fare best of the remainder.

SELECTIONS
NONANCOURT (1) – ADVIENTO (2) – VIGATATA (9) – SHASTANA (6)

1. TOP GLORY – 5th three runs ago is the best run recently over 2100m at Pornichet on
December 27th. Hard to be positive about
2. BECQUANON – Has several unplaced runs since a win over 1800m in August in a Class 4
handicap. Needs to bounce back to form
3. GRAND COURGEON – Has five unplaced runs since a 3rd at Bordeaux Le Bouscat in late
November over 2400m in maiden race. Opposable
4. MONA LISA – Won last time at Pau over 2000m in a Class 4 handicap on January 14th. Likes
this venue and can feature
5. RICHMOND – Fair 5th last time over 1400m at Pau on January 12th in a Class 4 race. Place
chance
6. LIEBE KINDER – Nice 3rd last time over 2000m at Pau 14 days ago in a Class 3 handicap.
Looks ready to win again
7. TITE NANA – Four unplaced runs of late, 4th before that over 2000m in a Class 4 race in July.
Makes very little appeal

Outside place chance

best avoided

limited appeal
11. FIAMELCA DOLOISE – 3rd three runs ago on the PSF in a Class 4 race in late September
over 2600m. Consider
12. CAFE SAIGON – 5th last time over 2000m in a Class 3 handicap 14 days ago at Pau. One to
pay attention too
13. POULFOS – Has several unplaced runs of late, the latter over 1650m 15 days ago in a Class
4 race. Hard to recommend

January. Capable of being in the mix
15. GOUT SUCRE – 7th last time over 2000m at Pau in mid-January in a Class 4 race. If in the
mood he can make the top three
16. BILWAUKEE – 4th three runs ago is the best form of late, that was over 2000m at Pau in a
Class 4 event. Vulnerable

Summary: In an open race, the nicely drawn LIEBE KINDER (6) should get a nice track position
from stall 6 and is the one to side with ahead of MONA LISA (4) who won at Pau over 2000m last
month and ought to be thereabouts again today. CAFE SAIGON (12) is not straightforward but
has enough talent to be involved in this modest affair. RICHMOND (5) is one for the place
backers to latch on to.
