She has been in exceptional form this season, finishing in the quartet on nine of her last ten outings.
With this consistency, it is no wonder that she has attracted a lot of money, so don’t expect to see bookmakers offer long odds.
As an added advantage, Rosy Lemon will have championship-chasing jockey Richard Fourie in the irons. If she repeats her last performance when punching way above her class, she should take this in her stride.
Bettors looking to build up an early kitty should take a long, hard look at Visionofpeace and Dantonfromsandton in the first two races on the card respectively.
Visionofpeace dug down deep to snatch the win on her debut, showing tremendous heart and courage first time out.
The fact that trainer Roy Magner has secured the services of Fourie to do the riding this time round, says a lot about what is expected of this daughter if Visionaire.
Any improvement will make her hard to oppose.
The dark horse in this race is Mother City, trained by Corrie Lensley. Splitting the difference between her first two runs over 1000m and 1400m respectively, she could take centre stage having never been beaten by much. She has a plum gate to add to he chances of success.
In Race 2, a Juvenile Plate over 1200m, Dantonfromsandton looks to build on his first career win second time out.
He does look to have plenty to come and should enjoy the extra distance.
Piere Strydom steered him to his first win and the maestro has unsurprisingly been retained for the ride.
