Race 1 Number 2 GRAND SUPREME
He had no luck in running last time, racing three-wide in midfield before sticking on well to finish fourth over 1100m at this track. Two starts ago, he checked into a slashing third to PACIFIC ANGEL who has since franked the form with a subsequent win in Class 4.
In contrast to being a $12 favourite on his Class 5 debut, his odds have been reasonable in his recent two starts and he should once again prove decent value here.
Race 8 Number 6 OCEAN JUPITER
This three-year-old appears to be nearing a win, but he didn’t have much luck in his most recent start upon returning to Class 5. From barrier 9, he endured a wide journey throughout and was never going to be able to pose a threat.
He stands out as a chance based on prior Restricted Maiden form. Additionally, being by Ocean Park, rising to the mile could suit.

Race 3 Number 1 VGOR
On the seven-day back up after a fast-finishing seventh over 1400m on turf, he is entering a low division Class 5 race for the first time this week. It won’t be a surprise to see him run a bold race with early intent, even if this trip is short of his best as on class, he could have a bit on this lot.
Race 4 Number 6 FREE AND HAPPY
He drew wide in barrier 11 last start and was ridden conservatively in the early stages. However, he stormed home late into fifth for an eye-catching effort. That run was over 1400m on turf but he will be far better suited back up to the mile as his record suggests.
