Race 3 – 2 STREET CONQUEROR

On his second start back in Class 4 last time, he drew wide in barrier 11 and was used up in the early stages to secure a position up front. However, due to the early exertion, he lacked a finishing effort and weakened to ninth by 5.25 lengths. Returning to quieter tactics, which are anticipated here, he possesses the capability to rebound from the disappointing performance.

Race 11 – 8 MAGNIFICENT NINE

This John Size-trained four-year-old had plenty go wrong in the run last start, so his sixth-place finish, beaten 2.5 lengths, was better than it reads. The short of it: he was crowded early and put on the back foot in an on-pace dominated race, while he was held up and involved in bumping duels on numerous occasions. He is better than that run, as his prior form tells you, and he gets his chance to redeem himself.

Race 6 – 1 LAUGH TALE

Two starts ago, he mapped on-pace and checked in second at this track and distance, but last start, he was ridden near-last but showed he remained in good form by running on strongly late into sixth. Drawn wide doesn’t help, but they can press forward should they desire.

Race 9 – 9 NEBRASKAN

This John Size-trained 3YO turned in a promising run on debut when he was eased back early from barrier 10 but caught the eye with a fast-finishing run into seventh against an on-pace dominated race shape. Further improvement is expected here.
