Summary: KANESHYA (2) is in solid form and looks to have bright winning claims on the back of an encouraging second. ALERIO (9) was unlucky last time out and has solid form over the trip so should make his presence felt in a big way. KOSAKENZIPFEL (1) is far better than his latest effort and should show some of his earlier form here.  UTAMARO (3) arrives in consistent form and will deliver a bold performance.

SELECTIONS
KANESHYA (2) – ALERIO (9) – KOSAKENZIPFEL (1) – UTAMARO (5)

R2 – PRIX LES FINALES MAF – PRIX TORNIBUSH – 2000m (a1m1/4) – TURF – Maiden Race – Flat – EUR € 21,000

  1. SOHO HOUSE – Finished 5th over 1600m in a maiden contest at Saint-Cloud on the 19th of April 2024. Should make big improvement to threaten
  2. AKBAR – Finished 4th over 1600m at Chantilly in a maiden on the 23rd of November 2023. Can get involved if not just needing it
  3. GIBRALTAR – Finished 4th over 2100m on debut at Parislongchamp in a maiden contest on the 7th of April 2024. Include in the play
  4. HASTA LA VISTA – Finished 9th over 2000m at Lyon Parilly in a maiden on the 2nd of November 2023. Would be a surprise winner
  5. SISTERLAND – Finished 4th over 1800m at Marseille Borely in a maiden on the 24th of April 2024. Should run well
  6. ONCHAO – Dam won once over the jumps after having several attempts on the flat. This gelding is likely to need the experience. Others preferred
  7. NOBLE BREATH – Dam remained a maiden after six outings. This filly will be suited by the trip and could make an instant impact on debut. Follow the market

Summary: SOHO HOUSE (1) was well held on debut but showed definite signs of inexperience and should have learnt a lot with that run under the belt. He should go close. SISTERLAND (5) is getting closer to that maiden win and looks to have been placed in the right race to mount a challenge. NOBLE BREATH (7) is a newcomer that warrants respect if the market vibes are strong. GIBRALTAR (3) should run another positive race.

SELECTIONS
SOHO HOUSE (1) – SISTERLAND (5) – NOBLE BREATH (7) – GIBRALTAR (3)

R3 – PRIX LES 48H DU GALOP – PRIX DU PARC DES BERGES DU RHONE – 1600m (a1m) – TURF – Class 4 Claiming Handicap – Flat – EUR € 14,000

  1. LARNO – Current form has been on the decline and will need to build on recent 15th at Parislongchamp. Unlikely
  2. THREE DREAMS – Boasts a recent win over 1600m at Lyon Parilly and it would come as no shock if she were to follow up. Strong each way chance
  3. GIDEON GREY – Ignore latest 9th, finished 3rd over 1800m at Lyon La Soie before that. Can place
  4. ZEYZOUN – Won cozily at Nantes over 1600m in a Handicap on the 18th of April and is confidently selected to follow up
  5. VENES – Won over 1500m at Marseille Vivaux last time out and has to be taken seriously. Good chance
  6. INDYCO – Cannot be fancied win current declining form and would be a shock winner. Pass by
  7. MAGIC TUNIS – Taking time to win the maiden, has been non-effective in some weak fields and needs to do plenty more for the win. Pass by
  8. RED TORCH – Attractive last run when 2nd over 1200m in Handicap class at Marseille Borely on the 24th of last month. Big chance and a must for all bets
  9. HEYTESBURY LANE – She is running well, finished 3rd at Lyon Parilly over 1600m in a Handicap late last month. Should be right there at the finish
  10. CHARM KING – Will need to build on latest 6th finish at Bouscat over 1900m. Prefer others for the victory but has a small place chance
  11. ULTIMATE FIGHT – Was a winner four runs back at Lyon Parilly over 1350m but has been really poor thereafter. Unlikely and can be ignored
  12. SECRET FEELING – Finished only 12th over 1600m at Lyon Parilly on the 27th of last month in a Handicap and will need to do much more than that to threaten

Summary: ZEYZOUN (4) has consistent overall form and comes into this race fresh off a victory at Nantes. He is confidently selected to follow up. RED TORCH (8) ran a cracking race at Marseille Borely in April over 1200m and it would come as no surprise, if her were to go one better today. THREE DREAMS (2) caught the eye when winning over 1600m last time and is definitely in with strong each way claims and therefore a must for all bets. VENES (5) won well last time and is a quartet must.
