Race 2 – 6 SHARPEN BRIGHT
Three starts ago, he was a winner at this track and distance, but he hasn’t had much luck in his two subsequent starts at Sha Tin. Last start, he found himself in an on-pace dominated race, disadvantaged at the rear. He performed well by coming home strongly against the race shape to finish in a better-than-it-reads seventh.
If the rider can position him closer to the lead speed, as he did when he won here three starts ago, he can atone.
Race 3 – 1 ONE FOR ALL
He could bounce back from a disappointing effort when he returned to Class 4 three weeks ago. From barrier 11 over the 1000m course, he was unable to find cover and raced wide throughout. Understandably, he weakened in the home straight, but was only beaten by 2.75 lengths into seventh place.
On his second start back in Class 4, rising to his best distance of 1200m, he has what it takes to improve if he gains a conducive run in transit.

Race 5 – 3 FIGHTING MACHINE
He has been plagued by wide barriers in his three most recent runs, drawn no lower than 10. However, in his two most recent starts since overcoming a heart irregularity, he has caught the eye, finishing eighth and fourth respectively. Drawing gate 2 here could significantly enhance his chances.
Race 6 – 2 I CAN
A slow start last time saw him positioned further back than when he won two starts ago. On a night where it was difficult to make up ground, he defied the trend with a remarkable and impressive second-place finish.
