AUDACIOUS makes her local debut after a change of trainer and is likely to show improvement and could earn some money. THREE CHEERS makes her debut and could be anything.

She showed improvement last time out and should relish the longer distance of this race. FIRST WISH showed genuine improvement last time out and can fight out the finish once again. VINTAGE CRYSTAL, DUMISANI, SUNDROP and ACCUMULATE are all battling to win a race but are capable of getting involved with the finish.

DESTINY’S ANGEL is best on the grass and is course and distance suited but does go up in the weights after a recent win. NOTHINGELSEMATTERS drops in distance and could be the surprise package of the race. TO THE HILT is improving and deserves respect. TICKING BOMB and SPECMAGIC are recent maiden winners that could be better than officially rated. CARAMEL FUDGE returns from a break for an in-form trainer.

Race Summary: An interesting race. THREE ROCKS has had a full season and it may well be taking its toll. She did not show her best last time out but is weighted to win this race if back to her best. Stable companion MISS GREENLIGHT was backed off the boards last time out and her punters were rewarded with a good win and she could follow up. GIMME’S LASSIE was another very unlucky loser and under jockey Craig Zackey this time and she could make amends for that defeat. BOMBER GIRL is back on the turf and could be the surprise package of the race. DISTINCTION is not reliable but would not be a surprise winner.

Race Summary: GIMME’S LADDIE was unlucky a couple of times on the Polytrack but bounced back with a solid win last time out and could follow up under a penalty. NARCOS is returning to form and has a place chance. FOREST SPY is back to his very best and clearly deserves respect. SIBERIAN STEEL has found betting support in his local runs and should contest the finish once again. TRANSACT is not reliable but is also not out of it. BELOW DECK was not disgraced on local debut and could pop up in a place. So too could stable companion ON THE ROAD AGAIN but both have been unreliable.

Race Summary: EXPLOSIVE SPEED was caught out of his ground last time out and probably should have won so could make amends. MASKED VIGILANTE has been consistent on the grass but is clearly at his very best on the Polytrack and if the switch to Polytrack is made he will prove hard to beat. SON OF ZEUS is capable of contesting the finish. GLOBETONIC has the ability but does not always show it. The same can also be said of MY AMI BEACH. ANUSCHKA’S WORLD could be a threat of a change of trainer. ARIVIDICIO is another to include in large Pick 6 permutations.

Race Summary: A cracking Juvenile race. MAKAZOLE was not beaten far in a quality field in KwaZulu-Natal last time out and could bounce back to score. MAURITIUS KESTREL has been very good on soft tracks of late and deserves the utmost respect for raiding trainer Brett Crawford. KINGDUNDEE is probably the best of the local dangers and he has only been beaten once in four starts and that was by an unbeaten filly. These three do appear to be the ones to concentrate on. COOL CAT, GOLDEN LINK and MY BEST SHOT are all improving and could play minor roles at best.

KINGDOM OF HEAVEN is in good form and has a place chance. FATEFUL DAY was an unlucky loser on the Polytrack last time out and deserves respect for that performance. WAZ WOUTER is course and distance suited and could bounce back to win. NO PLACE LIKE HOME has improved of late and can contest the finish again. STORM COMMANDER, TIMBAVATI RIVER and GUNSMOKE are three others who could run well.
