1. LIFELONG – Is a first timer by Zelzal out of the Galileo mare, Toujours who won over 1800m.
Cristian Demuro rides and he can produce a promising showing
2. BURHAN – Unraced son of Siyouni out of a Dubawi mare, Jousi. André Fabre trains with
Mickael Barzalona doing duty. The betting market will be a good guide
3. ONE MAJOR – Is a son of Romanised out of the Selkirk mare, Elhareer. Theo Bachelot does
duty and he may need this outing
4. GALICIANO – Unraced son of Van Beethoven out of the Galiway mare, Galiciana. He will
come on from this outing
5. MISUNDERSTOOD – Unraced son of Hello Youmzain out of the Observatory mare, Waldjagd.
He may produce a positive run under Alexis Pouchin
6. DUTY – Unraced son of Romanised out of the Dark Angel mare, Justice Angel who was a
three-time winner from 1200m to 1400m. May need the experience
7. CHAUNCEY GARDINER – Is a son of Sottsass out of a Le Harve mare, Mascha who won from
1700m to 1800m. Christophe Soumillon rides which is a bonus and the betting should give clues
Summary: BURHAN (2) hails from the powerful André Fabre stable with Mickael Barzalona in
the irons. He is set to put up a bold showing in his first run. LIFELONG (1) gets the services of top
jockey Cristian Demuro and he is well-bred. Look forward to a good first up run. CHAUNCEY
GARDINER (7) is a well-bred son of Sottsass with Christophe Soumillon doing duty. The betting
market will give the best clues. MISUNDERSTOOD (5) may be another that should run a positive
race on debut.

of the experience
3. SEPULVEDA – Unraced daughter of Le Harve out of the Golden Horn mare, Sea The Gold.
The betting market will give clues but she may need this
4. LANTANA – Mickael Barzalona is booked to ride this daughter of Camelot. She is out of a
Zebedee mare and the betting market will give clues about her chances
5. VALMACCA – Unraced daughter of Ribchester out of the Street Cry mare, Rivalba. She is
likely to be at her best over further
6. FLAMME ROUGE – Unraced daughter of Sea The Stars out of the Dubawi mare, Anaita.

Summary: FLAMME ROUGE (6) is a well-bred daughter of Sea The Stars from the André Fabre
stable. Alexis Pouchin is booked to ride and if not too green, she should run a big race.
LANTANA (4) gets the services of top jockey Mickael Barzalona and she is a daughter of
Camelot. She is likely to produce a forward showing. MARQUES (1) is a daughter of Le Harve
and with Cristian Demuro up, she should give a good account of herself. ULTRAFRAGOLA (7)
may produce a promising debut with the services of Christophe Soumillon. Watch the betting for a

June 2024. Is inconsistent but has claims on best form
8. COSMO BEAU – Fair recent form. Finished 5th over 1800m at Chantilly in Class 2 Divided
Handicap on 14 July 2024. Can go close with Alexis Badel up
9. SAINT HELLIER – Is battling to find best form. Finished 11th over 2000m at Lyon Parilly in
Class 2 Divided Handicap on 24 June 2024. Has upset potential if putting best foot forward
10. SULEYMAN – Is better than his latest effort when 14th over 1800m at Chantilly in Class 2
Divided Handicap on 14 July 2024. If finding his earlier form, he is capable of winning this race
11. CHIAREGGIO – Won over 2000m at Chantilly in Class 3 Limited Handicap on 16 June 2024.
Takes a rise in class but is in a good space

Class 2 Divided Handicap on 25 April 2024. Others are preferred
Summary: SULEYMAN (10) is better than his recent form suggests. He is having his peak run
and if finding his earlier form, he should be competitive. STORM CITY (13) has produced two
good runs in the lead-up to this race and is a massive threat. RAQEEBB (5) is better than his
disappointing latest effort and on his penultimate run, he should have a say in the outcome of this
contest. UZEL (3) showed good signs of a form return last time. It would be no surprise to see
him go one better.

Faces stronger and others have a better winning chance
4. MQSE DE SEVIGNE – Won the Group 1 Prix D’Ispahan over 1850m at Parislongchamp on 26
May 2024. Comes into this contest in top form and is the horse to beat
5. KELINA – Finished 3rd in a Group 3 over 1400m at Parislongchamp on 20 June 2024. Will strip
fitter for this race and cannot be ignored
6. BLUE ROSE CEN – Disappointing latest when 7th in the Group 1 Prince of Wales’ Stakes over
2000m at Ascot on 19 June 2024. Big runner on best form shown
7. RIBALTAGAIA – Finished 4th over over 1600m at Chantilly in a Conditional Listed on 29 June
2024. Takes a rise in class and may find this difficult
Summary: MQSE DE SEVIGNE (4) won this race last year and a Group 1 event at
Parislongchamp last time. She comes into this race in top form and can bring up the hat-trick.
BLUE ROSE CEN (6) is better than her disappointing last effort at Ascot. She is a filly with class
and cannot be discounted with Christophe Soumillon up. KELINA (5) would have come on from
her last outing in a Group 3 and has the ability to be competitive. ROGUE MILLENNIUM (2)
comes into this race off a good 3rd at Newmarket and must have a say.

C5 – PRIX DE CABOURG – 1200m (a6f) – TURF – Gr3 Race – Flat – EUR € 80,000
1. COLUMNIST – Won over 1200m on debut at Chester and has proven his
worth/competitiveness in subsequent Group races, finishing 3rd in 1200m Group II Coventry
Stakes and 4th in 1400m Group II Superlative Stakes at Newmarket on 13 July. Keep safe
2. DAYLIGHT – Impressive wide-margin winner on debut at Chantilly (1200m) before confirming
her obvious ability/promise with a creditable last-start 3rd in the Group III Prix du Bois over that
course and distance on 16 June. Beware
3. NAANA’S DIAMOND – Finished 2nd in consecutive outings over 1000m – at Thirsk on debut
and at Ascot in her next outing – before opening her account over 1200m in Italy when last seen
on 9 June. Will find this a lot tougher
4. APOLLO FOUNTAIN – Finished 2nd to POLYVEGA (5) over 1100m on debut at Chantilly but
improved with that experience to land the Listed Prix Yacowlef over 1000m at Deauville on 6 July.
Exciting prospect who it should pay to follow
5. POLYVEGA – Authoritative debut winner over 1100m at Chantilly on 16 June and should have
more to offer over the extra 100m. Beat re-opposing APOLLO FOUNTAIN (4) on debut and the
latter has subsequently won a Listed race
Summary: Good race. APOLLO FOUNTAIN (4) finished behind POLYVEGA (5) when the pair
debuted over 1100m at Chantilly but the former could hardly have been more impressive in
winning the Listed Prix Yacowlef over 1000m earlier this month and, on the evidence of that
display with the benefit of added experience to count on, seems capable of avenging that debut
defeat. COLUMNIST (1) has proven references at Group level across the Channel and should, on
the strength/consistency of his form, make his presence felt in the outcome. DAYLIGHT (2),
despite finishing 3rd in the 1200m Group III Prix du Bois, was slightly disappointing and could
make amends here.
