Fourie also set a new East Cape record with 119 wins, far exceeding the previous mark of 116 held by Greg Cheyne. S’Manga Khumalo and Luyolo Mxothwa followed with 62 and 53 wins, respectively. Fourie was crowned the champion jockey in both KZN and the Western Cape, while Kobeli Lihaba claimed the national champion apprentice title with 49 wins.

Justin Snaith secured the national champion trainer title, with his stable amassing stakes earnings of R20,981,288.
