At the conclusion of an inquiry, Jockey S Hafis, the rider of FA FA STAR in Race 8 at the Perak Turf Club meeting on 25 August 2024, was found guilty of violating MRA Rule 44(10) for failing to ride to the satisfaction of the Stewards.

In determining the penalty, the Panel of Stewards considered Jockey S Hafis’s disciplinary history and the mitigating factors presented. As a result, Jockey S Hafis has been suspended from riding in races for a period of two (2) months, effective from Monday, 26 August 2024, until Friday, 25 October 2024, inclusive. Additionally, he has been fined RM15,000 (Malaysian Ringgit: Fifteen Thousand). He has been informed of his right to appeal.
