Race 2 No 3 Fortune Wheel

He was hampered by a slow tempo last time out, which caused him to appear one-paced and finish fourth over this track and distance. Since then, the form has held up well, with the seventh placegetter, VGOR, going on to score a subsequent win.

As a facile winner in this class two starts ago, he remains a strong contender in the cellar grade and should be respected.

Race 4 No 2 Wind Of Dubai

He hasn’t had much luck in his two starts this preparation, racing wide throughout on both occasions and losing both plates during his first-up run in early August. Despite these setbacks, he still managed to finish third and fourth, demonstrating his competitiveness in Class 5.

Now, being ready to peak third-up, he has the potential to return to the winner’s list with better luck in running.

Sectional Star

Race 7 No 2 Super Bowl

He finished a better-than-expected fifth over this track and distance last week, despite traveling three-wide throughout. Prior to that, he recorded the second-fastest final 400m (24.56 seconds) to finish runner-up over 2000m in Class 4. With a perfect record in Class 5, he must be considered a strong winning chance with the drop in class.

Race 10 No 6 Groovy

After finishing a solid fifth over 1100m in his most recent outing two weeks ago, where he recorded the fourth-fastest final 400m sectional time, he is well-suited to rise to 1200m this week. He has achieved four of his five career wins at this distance. Therefore, he is worth considering if his odds offer value.
