1. IDYLLE DU FRAISSE – Well beaten on her debut over 1350m at Lyon Parilly on June 1st. Has
to make vast improvement to have a say
2. STAR ICON – Unplaced on her sole run over 1600m at Vichy on August 19th. Hard to
recommend
3. IOWA CITY – Placed on all four runs, the latter when 3rd at Vichy over 1600m on August 19th.
Key player
4. MAGIC IMPRESA – Fair 4th on her sole run so far over 1600m at Clairefontaine on July 27th.
Ought to be in the shake-up
5. NUIT DE GALA – Showed promise when making her debut at La Teste over 1400m on June
27th when finishing 9th. Will have learnt from that and is one to consider
6. JUST FOR GAB’S – Promise when 7th at Vichy on August 19th over 1600m. Can improve
from that run and be on the premises
7. BERLINETTA – Credible 3rd last time over 1600m in a maiden at Clairefontaine on July 27th.
Looks to be improving and can not be ruled-out
8. THORGALLE – 7th on her debut over 1000m at Vichy on August 7th. Might be suited by the
big step up in trip
9. LOLA MONTES – 6th on her sole run at Dieppe over 1400m on July 23rd. Should improve
from that run but others make more appeal
10. AMERICADREAM – 3rd on her latest run at Vichy in a claimer over 1600m on July 24th.
Needs a few to falter
11. LADY MANZOR – Last of 12 on her only run at this track over 1200m on June 14th. Steps up
in trip but makes no appeal
12. TANFEPAS – Newcomer by Raven’s Pass, the dam was a winner of a Listed race. Nice
profile and will be expected to be involved on debut

Summary: After some consistent efforts, IOWA CITY (3) can put her experience to good use and
finally get off the mark. MAGIC IMPRESA (4) looks like she could be the main danger. She ran
with promise at Clairefontaine when fourth on her debut in late July. She will know what is
required this time. JUST FOR GAB’S (6) showed some talent on her debut until getting tired in
the latter stages. She will strip fitter. BERLINETTA (7) looks to be improving and is one to keep
safe.

SELECTIONS
IOWA CITY (3) – MAGIC IMPRESA (4) – JUST FOR GAB’S (6) – BERLINETTA (7)

C2 – PRIX VINCENT – 1800m (a1m1/8) – TURF – Maiden Race – Flat – EUR € 23,000

1. VHARQAM – Three unplaced efforts so far, the most recent being over 1600m at Vichy on
August 19th. Makes no appeal
2. ANACONDA – 5th last time, 2nd before that over 1400m at La Teste on July 3rd in a maiden
race. Ought to be in the mix
3. SHOOTING – Good 2nd last time at Vichy over 1600m on July 31st on his second start. Can
not be overlooked
4. HAPPY TOGETHER – Two unplaced runs so far, the latter over 1400m at Vichy in a maiden
over 1400m on July 15th. Hardly inspiring
5. BELLO LEO – Credible effort when 7th on his debut at Clairefontaine over 1800m. Can step
forward from that run and make the frame
6. HOHENSCHWANGAU – Has run well when 3rd on both of his runs, the latter over 1500m at
Clairefontaine on August 16th. Sets the standard
7. GUACARI – Two unplaced runs so far, well beaten at Vichy on July 31st over 1600m when last
appearing. Can be overlooked
8. STELLAR CHOP – 2nd on his latest run over 1600m at Vichy on July 31st when beaten 0.75L.
Merits consideration
9. MASTER CATH – Showed ability when 8th over 1600m at Vichy on his only run on July 31st.
Will know more and can have a say
10. CHANT DORE – Unraced by Taj Mahal, will likely improve for this debut run. Any market
support will be informative
11. GET BARAKA – Newcomer by Le Brivido, stable runners warrant respect. Watch the betting
exchanges for any support

Summary: HOHENSCHWANGAU (6) has shown plenty of ability in two starts. He was third
behind an impressive winner last time and is marginally preferred to SHOOTING (3) who is a
threat. He was beaten less than a length at Vichy on his latest run at the end of July and that was
a step forward from his debut run. MASTER CATH (9) ran in the Vichy race when making his
debut and will be sharper for that run. ANACONDA (2) looks the best of the rest.

SELECTIONS
HOHENSCHWANGAU (6) – SHOOTING (3) – MASTER CATH (9) – ANACONDA (2)

C3 – PRIX ANDRE GREGORI – 1200m (a6f) – TURF – Class 3 Divided Handicap – Flat – EUR € 20,000

handicap on June 30th. Can bounce back after a below-par run last time on a track he likes
2. SHELBYLANDOR – Won two runs ago over 1000m at Vichy in a Class 4 handicap on August
7th. Hard to leave out

27th in a Class 3 race. In the mix
5. BLANC BLEU – Three unplaced runs of late, 4th before that over 1600m at Chantilly in a Class
3 handicap on May 2nd. Needs to get back on track
6. TILL WE DIE – Good 3rd last time over 1000m in a Class 4 race at Vichy on August 23rd. Has
won over track and trip before and can not be discounted
7. IDEE DE CHEVAL – Three unplaced runs this year, the latter over 1300m at Deauville in a
Class 3 handicap on August 20th. Others rate higher
8. EXPERTISE – 6th last time, 3rd before that over 1100m at Salon Provence in a Class 4
handicap on June 25th. Can make the top four
9. CERVARO – Has several unplaced runs of late, the latter over 1600m at Vichy in a Class 4
handicap. Hardly inspiring
10. WASACHOP – Three unplaced runs since a win over track and trip on June 7th in a Class 4
handicap. Likes this track but needs to bounce back to form
11. INDYCO – Has not shown any form of late, unplaced on the latest run over 1300m in a Class
3 handicap on August 8th at Deauville. Pass over

Summary: COUR DU ROI (1) was below par last time but had good form before that with a
second-placed run at Saint-Cloud at the end of June and two wins at this track earlier in the year
over this trip. TILL WE DIE (6) was also a winner at this track last year and ran well when third on
her latest start. She can be a threat. SHELBYLANDOR (2) won two starts ago at Vichy over
1000m and is at home having won over 1200m in June. EXPERTISE (8) is also one to consider
each way.

SELECTIONS
COUR DU ROI (1) – TILL WE DIE (6) – SHELBYLANDOR (2) – EXPERTISE (8)

C4 – PRIX DES NEFLIERS – 1200m (a6f) – TURF – Class 4 Divided Handicap – Flat – EUR € 16,000

August 14th. Consistent performer
2. TOUTELUSIVE – 4th last time over 1600m in a Class 4 handicap at Vichy on August 23rd.
Ought to be in the shake-up
3. NOBLE AMBER – Two unplaced runs of late, 2nd before at at Lyon Parilly over 1350m in a
Class 4 handicap. Consider
4. HAARICIA – Has five unplaced runs of late, the latter at this track on May 31st in a Class 4
handicap over 1700m. Has dropped in the weights and has place claims
5. IDAHO JAMES – Unplaced last time, 2nd before that at Vichy over 1400m in a Class 4 race on
July 31st. Makes limited sense
6. COTAI HERO – 4th last time over 1500m on the PSF on March 14th at Marseille -Pont-Vivaux
in a Class 4 handicap. Can be a threat
7. KENZYDANCER – Did well when 2nd in a Class 4 handicap at Vichy on June 23rd over 1000m
last time. This trip will be no issue
8. NIGHT OF THE OPERA – Three unplaced runs recently, 4th before that at this track over
1200m in a Class 4 handicap on March 20th. Opposable
9. BUTI – Has shown very little this year, unplaced over 1300m at Deauville in a Class 3 handicap
on August 20th when last appearing. Avoidable
10. SANTI DEL MARE – Has four unplaced runs this year, the most recent over 1200m at
Chantilly on June 26th in a Class 4 handicap. Hard to fancy

Summary: I DARE (1) has been in decent form of late with a win in early July at Aix-Les-Bains
and two third-placed efforts after that. She knows how to get her head in front and can win from
KENZYDANCER (7) who is versatile trip-wise. He was a good second over 1000m late last
month at Vichy and has run well at this track when second in March over today’s journey. COTAI
HERO (6) looks like the best option each way. TOUTELUSIVE (2) makes up the shortlist.

SELECTIONS
I DARE (1) – KENZYDANCER (7) – COTAI HERO (6) – TOUTELUSIVE (2)

C5 – CRITERIUM DE PROVENCE – PRIX LUCIEN PLANARD – 1700m (a1m1/8) – TURF – Class 2 Race – Flat – EUR € 27,000

1. BALIROS – 5th last time, won before that over 1600m at Vittel on debut on July 25th. Unlikely
to feature
2. DONEGAL – Won over 1500m at Deauville in a maiden on his third run on August 22nd.
Should be on the premises
3. LADY VITESSE – 6th last time, won before that over 1350m on her debut at Lyon Parilly on
June 24th. Leading chance
4. PASTISSE – 5th last time, 3rd before that over 1300m in a handicap on August 3rd at
Deauville. Place claims
5. STUNNING ANGEL – 5th last time, 4th before that in a Listed race at Vichy over 1400m on
July 17th. One to consider
6. LINDERHOF – 5th last time in a maiden at Clairefontaine on August 16th over 1600m. Looks
safely held

Summary: LADY VITESSE (3) was a credible sixth in a well-contested Class 2 race at Deauville
last month and in what looks like a less competitive event she can score from DONEGAL (2) who
scored in a maiden at Deauville in late August. He looks like the type to keep improving.
STUNNING ANGEL (5) was fourth in a Listed race two starts ago and if emulating that effort she
will be competitive. PASTISSE (4) won a claimer at this track in June. More is needed in a better
race.

SELECTIONS
LADY VITESSE (3) – DONEGAL (2) – STUNNING ANGEL (5) – PASTISSE (4)

C6 – PRIX MICHEL FRUCTUS – 1700m (a1m1/8) – TURF – Maiden Race – Flat – EUR € 17,000

1. LOGIS – Three unplaced runs so far, the latter over 2000m at Salon Provence on June 25th.
Might be better in handicap’s
2. NOBLEMAN – 5th last time, 3rd before that over 2000m at Vichy on July 15th. Has plenty of
experience and needs to be respected

2nd. Hard to recommend

second start. She will keep improving and is in the mix
6. WITH PRESENCE – Unplaced on her sole start on January 27th over 2000m. Will have
stepped forward from her debut but others preferred
7. BAIGNADE – Credible 2nd at Vichy in a handicap over 1400m on August 14th when last
appearing. Can make the top four
8. ABSOLUTE – Two good runs, the latter when 3rd at this track over 1700m on June 14th. Can
get a deserved win
9. HER MAJESTY – Newcomer by Birchwood, the dam won three times. Will improve for this run.
Any market support should be noted
10. DAB OF PAINT – Newcomer by Dabirsim, from a good stable who can ready a filly to strike
on debut. The betting can be the best guide

Summary: ABSOLUTE (8) has shaped well on both of her starts. The latest was over this track in
June when she was third in a competitive maiden. She has the most to fear from ALGIZ (3) who
has also been placed on both of his two runs, both of them at Varsovie in Poland. BAIGNADE (7)
ran well when second at Vichy last month and can have a say in proceedings. SOUND OF
THUNDER (5) has only had two runs and was a pleasing third on the latest start and has more to
come.

SELECTIONS
ABSOLUTE (8) – ALGIZ (3) – BAIGNADE (7) – SOUND OF THUNDER (5)

C7 – PRIX CASIMIR TERRON – 2000m (a1m1/4) – TURF – Class 4 Race – Flat – EUR € 14,000

1. RABBAH – Four unplaced runs since winning over 2000m on the PSF on May 24th in a Class
4 race. Might prefer the artificial surfaces
2. INTERIEUR – Three unplaced runs of late, 4th before that over 2000m at Marseille Borely on
May 10th in a Class 4 handicap. Place chance
3. SELKET – Unplaced last time, won before that over 2400m in a Class 4 race at Biguglia on
April 28th. Honest filly who knows how to win
4. LES ALDUDES – Two unplaced runs of late, won before that over 1800m in a Class 4
handicap at this track on June 21st. Needs to be more reliable
5. LIVING NELSON – Two unplaced runs of late, 3rd before that over 1800m at this track on June
21st in a Class 4 handicap. Unlikely to threaten
6. VERLAN – Decent 2nd at Dax when beaten narrowly over 2300m in a Class 4 handicap on
July 26th on his latest outing. Player

on May 26th in a Class 4 race. Can not be discounted

Vichy on August 23rd. He can make the top four

One to go with each-way
10. LUDDEN LASS – Two unplaced runs of late, 4th before that over 1100m at Salon Provence in
a Class 4 handicap on May 20th. Can be passed over

Summary: SELKET (3) is versatile distance wise having won three times this year over different
trips. She has solid claims to get her fourth success. VERLAN (6) is the main danger and was
narrowly beaten when second at Dax last time and can not be overlooked. O’SSITOT (8) has
dropped in the handicap after some unplaced efforts and if returning to form he has each-way
claims. INTERIEUR (2) is also worth a mention.

SELECTIONS
SELKET (3) – VERLAN (6) – O’SSITOT (8) – INTERIEUR (2)
